SKIN-Changer



Skin-changers are classified as cheats, as they should be..

they work exactly like a cheat and modify protected game files/memory. They can easily make your opponents skins neon. It is not necessary for VAC to tell the difference between them as modifying protected game files or memory is not allowed anyway.

all VAC bans come from the detection of a known cheat, whether it is used on the account itself or some sort of sharing has occurred (account, library or phone number).

Users are responsible for the security of the account and all that happens on it

Correct. Skin changers tamper with core memory files so they will result in a permanent ban.

The skin changer i used was client based not game based it had nothing to do with the online game

It doesnt give an advantege for me or anyone in the game, it was 5 years but im still curios why people who use skin changer get the same punishment as real cheater

BECAUSE skinchangers act JUST like CHEATS... and modify protected game information. That is NOT allowed.

It's as Valve defines it, not if you see it giving you an advantage or not.

Skin changers give you access to cosmetics you did NOT obtain as intended, that's a big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NO from Valve.

Sure as hell that game textures won't be the only protected memory.

I already moved on it was 5 years ago like i said, but its hard to see that in 5 years VAC doesnt get more evolved, its the thing that you get banned forever but just can create a new account with the same IP and just spend 5 dollar and then you can continue to cheat that sounds to me more like a problem

The way the skinchangers work is the same as cheats and Valve aren't going to work out which users are actively cheating and which others are trying to defraud them and tamper with their products so the correct ban type can be applied.

Good thing you aren't making the rules then...

The program works exactly like a cheat, there is no reason to differentiate as it is NOT allowed.
