The bunker was part of the German military`s Atlantic Wall. During the Second World War the bunker acted as a sanitary bunker for wounded German soldiers. Inside the bunker in one end is a large room that used to be the bed section, in the opposite end you find the operating theatre, still with the original paint and tiles on the floor and walls. In recent times the bunker have been used by the Home Guard, and a local roleplay society.
