From the doc:

They are still a company and will have to deal with negativity, like any other companies, but they have publicly announced that they will do better - which is great!

I mean, of course they're going to say that. Welcome to the boilerplate responses to PR disasters of the business world. Until I see sensible wages listed on their recruitment site I'll be having my finger stuck on the X to doubt key for awhile.

Yeah that line really struck me as odd since he has 0 connection within niji iirc yet seemed like he's bootlicking for no reason. Guess we'll never know

[–]No_Lake_1619 79 points80 points  (1 child)

Don't think he's "bootlicking", just being professional.

[–]Magxvalei 16 points17 points  (0 children)

No difference to some people

[–]beaglemaster 30 points31 points  (1 child)

People need to stop jumping straight to bootlicker if they don't just blindly hate on the company. One way or another the company is going to have to change how it operates if it doesn't want keep losing investors. JP is so saturated that eventually the only way left to go is down and investors aren't going to accept that.

Stating that their intent to improve is great (regardless of if it actually does in the long term) is not being a bootlicker. It's just being hopeful.

Especially if they might not be following the nitty gritty of all that's going on.

someone made a good point: the document is him denying that he leaked the krisis models, but he didnt deny him who was supposed to be the 4th member

[–]Fiametia[S] 39 points40 points  (1 child)

That is true, it gives him enough plausible deniability without outright lying

[–]MrJohnAppleS33d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well if Aruvn wasn't the 4th member of Krisis, we may never know who he/she was at this point.

[–]MyNameIsPuddin 43 points44 points  (1 child)

We'll probably never find out who actually leaked it tbh

[–]Fiametia[S] 35 points36 points  (0 children)

We'll never get a direct confirmation because nobody wants to have a reputation of being a whistleblower, not even if it's niji. "If someone leaked something once, who's to say that they won't leak something again?" Is what sponsors or collaborators will think

[–]fffffplayer1 30 points31 points  (3 children)

I have no idea about this whole situation, honestly, but as someone coming into this with very minimal knowledge this document is very vague and confusing. I understand he probably wanted to avoid mentioning any specific names, showing identifying images or perpetuating leaks, but he probably could have explained the context around the situation and what the censored images were supposed to show.

The arguments used to strengthen his claim are themselves also not very good. The "Why would I leak?" sort of argument doesn't really work, because it expects you to imagine that Aruvn has the sort of character that wouldn't leak, but fails to actually establish that. "How would I benefit from this?" also doesn't work very well, because there are all sorts of purposes one could imagine.

I also don't think there really was a reason for him to include the fact that he doesn't like news tubers or that he trusts in Nijisanji. People who agree with those opinions may think otherwise, but I don't think they were necessary, diluting his message in the process.

Overall, it's a very badly put together document for something that came out a year later, and still very emotionally charged. I wonder why he decided to post it now.

Actually, he was mentioned here earlier today and speculation was brought up, so I guess he might have seen that after looking up the discussion on his recent concert. That (or any other discussion of the rumour in conjunction with the discussion spurred by the concert) is a likely possibility for what prompted it.

I don't mean any ill will toward him and I probably believe what he's saying, but he certainly chose a weird way to put it.

I've seen a tweet of someone tagging him in hopes of getting him to air out more of niji's dirty laundry, and seeing as the leak is a year ago and he himself stated that the rumours jeaportised some opportunities for him, my rrat is that he just wanted to be disconnected from the drama since he gains 0 benefits from it but was too emotional to write a proper defence against it regardless of whether he's really the 4th Krisis member or not

[–]fffffplayer1 4 points5 points  (1 child)

By the way, do you know the exact story behind his retirement back in 2023? I found he was to retire on February 2023, but haven't seen any announcement that he came back.

February itself might be a little too soon for him to have joined Krisis in July (usually, livers' PLs graduate 1 or 2 months before their debut, from what I've seen). Especially, if you consider there were Nijisanji auditions running on January 2023.

[–]Fiametia[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't find anything reliable about it that isn't a rrat, sorry

[–]Inevitable_Cow8013 31 points32 points  (4 children)

So he had an entire year to speak up and deny it but didn't and NOW that anycolor is threatening people left and right, he's denying any involvement.

Suspicious timing imo.

[–]idiom6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This raises an interesting point. He might've received a threatening C&D demanding that he clarify that he's not with Nijisanji, and that Nijisanji is an A-Okay company. Possibly Nijisanji and/or their law firm learned from the Raziel/FalseEyeD situation and put in actionable demands in their C&D?

Or, could have had yet another collab or business opportunity fall through because of the negativity surrounding Nijisanji, decided enough was enough, and wrote this doc in a burst of frustration while maintaining enough presence of mind to be professional lest Nijisanji finally sic their lawyers on him for causing detrimental confusion about their brand.

I mean any1 would if they risk a lawsuit coming their way if they admit to leaking

[–]Secure-Key-8334 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on if the person/corporation who threatens to sue me actually could.

Otherwise it's caving for no reason based on superficial shit.

[–]BlueBerrrySconeEx Lucub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s complimenting them in the doc and how he’s actually proud of the company that’s… a choice?
