Still reading (interesting list BTW) but a small correction/expansion:

Hex apparently has a playlist titled "the truth will set you free" on his PL. This apparently predates Selen's termination.

It's actually a Hex stream called "you're not getting away with this" hidden away in a playlist on PL channel that contains 20 seemingly random songs and said stream (which was streamed shortly before termination IIRC... can't check dates now but it was like, within 2 weeks if not less). And the playlist was found out because someone was laving breadcrumbs for 4channers when they were cooking up GURRAT.

As for "truth will set you free", that was a tweet shortly after termination.

All in all very mixed/ambiguous signs coming from Hex.

PS. As for 4chan doing 180 on Nina, they've already done another and are back to hating her, because of her still being on good terms with Ethyria.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for the correction. I'll fix that once I figure out how this site works.

[–]omrmajeed 131 points132 points  (10 children)

While lots of this is factual, there are SO many suppositions, conjectures and interpretations in this post that it should be taken with a grain of salt.

[–]Seb_veteran-sleeper 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, but I do appreciate that someone that is making a good post that both criticises mistakes, but tries to see the members as three dimensional people who have good sides.

Realistically, even if an ex-talent did a full expose, we should take it with a healthy serving of salt. So anything we try to compile is going to be magnitudes more uncertain.

If someone were to try and make the Ultimate Niji Truth DocTM , they could do a more thorough job of labelling what has concrete evidence, what is heavily hinted at from several sources and what has light proof, but nothing near concrete, and label everything with its accompanying sources.

But this is a Reddit post by a single person, not a comprehensive Wikipedia page with the requisite fact checking and the like.

[–]llllpentllll 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Shouldnt be taken at all id say, too much not factual info dumped there

[–]oowoowoo 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Yeah, lost me when OP started putting their opinions in there.

[–]Kyhron 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Grain? There’s less salt that’s used during a blizzard than the amount of salt this post should be taken with

[–]LlhamaPaluza 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The most complex part is that what people are when they stream and tweet are not necessarily what they are out of those spaces.

There are people that are widly different even between platforms who jokes a lot on twitter and have a more calm demeanor on lives or discord.

I am from Brazil, I made quite few assets and merch for some vtubers and being on the anime/manga/Otaku IRL scene for quite a while now I got to recognize some of our biggest vtubers from past events and such and boy! There are people who are super seiso and family friendly on their keyfabe /stream/Xtwitts and had the kinkiest imagination, there are bigbobba GF RP girls who was the most shy people alive if they need to make an order on a restaurant or speak to a crush. The more corporate more dissonant.

This is like this for any person with a plataform.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I kind of agree to be honest. I'm not really sure if this post is a good idea. The problem is that we know so little of Nijisanji that conjcture is almost necessary to make any sense of what's happening. I will say that some of the points you can find out by doing a quick search on Google and YouTube.

[–]omrmajeed 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Im not saying that you did a bad thing. I know lot of it is facts (from my own experience with Niji livers) but just letting others know that its not all facts.

Plus always remember that all vtubers (and streamers in general) are people acting in certain way to entertain. The stories they tell, the characters they portray, the info they give, its to entertain people. Lot of it is made up and there is no way of knowing what about them is true or not.

[–]Villag3Idiot 97 points98 points  (1 child)

Just a note that the reason that Pomu initially lagged behind was because she had to take a month break due to surgery which killed her algorithm. Her growth didn't recover until like a year later.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OK, cool. Thanks for letting me know. Edit: I've added this to the post.

[–]AnimeFanFTWIn my opinion, this is not a form of flair 36 points37 points  (2 children)

Theres a few things I honestly either disagree with or just think are flatout wrong, but for the most part, a pretty well detailed list. Thanks for sharing, OP

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Hi, I'm willing to make corrections to the post if there are wrong issues. I'm probably going to remove the skinwalking claims for example. Would you mind telling me some of your issues?

[–]AnimeFanFTWIn my opinion, this is not a form of flair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much what other people in the comments have been saying. It really is just a few I disagree with, with a list that big I would be more surprised if there wasnt any lol.

[–]Fishman465 29 points30 points  (8 children)

I find the JP/Riku ordered the black stream hard to believe as that'd require him to be stupid/petty that'd be hard to hide in JP

That stream under-determined his apology and escalated things from a mere Incident to the beginning of a cataclysmic chain of events that more or less will lead to EN's folding and even NijiJP getting scrutinized more by western eyes.

[–]CassiopeiaPlays 26 points27 points  (2 children)

I actually think it could be the case. A feeble attempt to push blame onto the Liver and ends up backfiring hard because the fanbase did not eat up the bs he cooked up. We’ve already seen that the upper management seems to be ignorant of the nature of the fanbase in different regions.

[–]llllpentllll 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Even for jp standards jps were wondering why they did that black video, from their pov only the ceo speaking was the right way. They would have to be ignorant of their own culture for that excuse to fly

[–]CassiopeiaPlays 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think that is the point, they tried to put out the fire, ended up alienating both sides. Probably due to some comical miscommunication to end up to do such.

[–]Seb_veteran-sleeper 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It was likely a game of telephone down the management tree.

  • Riku says he's gonna do his apology video (maybe with a mention of NijiEN signal boosting it?)
  • Person below Riku tells Niji EN management to do a stream to lead into Riku's video.
  • EN management decides that a hit piece will be the perfect lead in.

Or something to that effect. On the whole, the person that greenlit the black screen and the person that wrote Riku's apology definitely had no idea what the other was doing. The two are just too different in tone and intent to ever be made to complement one another.

Niji just generally seems to have a lot of 'left hand doesn't know what the right is doing' situations that you get in badly managed corporations.

[–]Bouncecat 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Those streams were intended for two separate audiences: fans and investors.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 6 points7 points  (2 children)

The problem that I mentioned is that I would have expected Riku to at least fire somebody publically if it was a rogue EN issue. Remember, Anycolor's stock has lost a third of it's value! In America, that would be probably enough to get your CEO fired. The only reason I can think of that why he hasn't publically fired anybody is that the person at fault has a lot of power. If EN is as expendable as people say, then pretty clearly anybody in EN should be low enough on the totem pole to fire.

[–]Fishman465 1 point2 points  (1 child)

My thinking is he didn't fire in part due to how slow information flows (this I figure by Riku's apology onlu addressing the very first bits) and by the time he found out about it, it was too late to react to (as in it wouldn't calm the mobs as it'd be seen as ass covering than damage control)

Also I doubt Riku would endorse such a termination in part due to Japanese businesses would rather drive people to quit than firing them for face reasons. I mean look at Gundou; despite popular belief, she wasn't terminated but graduated (though it was a driven to quit case)

[–]0_momentum_0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can only be Riku or at least be done with his blessing. Simply because the video is still up online. here, feel free to check:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znp-lbQbp-s

Niji management deleted or privated Vods a ton. Yet this one video is still up. So the only posibility for Riku to not condone the existence or even making of this video would be only possible if he has 0 power in the company.

Lastly, if Elira had any power over that video, she would have deleted it in the first few days after release. Just to try and minimize the damage to her reputation. Yet, again, the video is still there for all to see. For the last two months its also been the first video you see if you go to her channel.

[–]Trustelo 84 points85 points  (4 children)

Doppio was probably hired to be like Vox

Little did they know they hired one of their more interesting and unique personalities. He did do that ASMR stuff Vox made popular but he was less fanservicey overall.

Edit: I honestly just want Doppio out of Niji. He seems like a good dude.

Calysto would’ve been 16

Yeah cause he totally wouldn’t lie about his age.

Also Uki’s not 100% clean. The memes clowning on him for his weird hatred of white people will probably haunt him for the rest of his days.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Calysto's age is verified. You can check him on YouTube wiki - he's born on March 12, 2000. There is no doubt that Calysto is 16 during the Vade accusations.

I'm not implying Uki is clean. I'm saying that he's probably not a fan of the company. Whether Uki is racist or not has nothing to do with how he thinks of Nijisani.

[–]Trustelo 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Calysto’s age is verified.

Yeah and I can say I was born on August 21st 2001 is that a lie or not? And plus that’s not the only thing connecting them. Not only do Vade and Calysto have similar voices but both got popular doing Undertale comic dubs, both have noted interest in Smash Bros specifically, both have talked about how they want to become filmmakers, etc etc. all of which they have in common with Vox. That’d be such a very easy thing to lie about your age because those wikis only have your word to go off of.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Sure, I will actually agree with you that Vade and Calysto are too similar in many ways. I mentioned it only because it hasn't been 100% confirmed. I think it's more likely than not they are the same person.  However, for the age part, Calysto (or Edward Braddock) is definitely born in 2000. He's shown both his name and his face. It should be trivial to verify this information.

[–]cielkiehl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calysto and Vade are the same person: Edward Baldock. Many youtube videos, tweets related to his VA work, and people who worked with him confirm that.

[–]jdeo1997 24 points25 points  (1 child)

In a recent clip by Kizu (look up Kuro tried to end game himself a few times), Kuro mentioned that he was suicidal while he was in his previous job and about a year and a half ago he tried to commit suicide a few times.

God fucking dammit, that brings the count up to 3!

Uki was very close to Pomu and Kyo, since they were the only three people in Nijisanji who played Minecraft often. Uki actually live tweeted Quinn's vtuber debut (he tweeted about Quinn's ice soup). He also recently mentioned that he was excited about Mint's return and that he was one of the first 20 people who membered to Mint, and liked a Mint tweet. I actually suspect that Uki doesn't like Nijisanji's management very much.

New rrat, Uki turned up the racist stuff in an attempt to get terminated as a fuck you to management. Not sure if it's true, but it'd be funny.

I will note that the order for the black stream seems to have come from upper JP management, not from EN. Notably, Riku hasn't even fired a scapegoat for the black stream. I actually suspect that the order for the black stream might have come from Riku himself.

I have some doubts about this, considering how the Black Stream made Riku's message D.O.A, but at the same time it wouldn't surprise me if somekne else in upper JP management approved it, notably the guy who credits Luxiem with saving his job.

Overall, good write-up OP, very informative

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've already mentioned it another comment, but it seems inconceivable to me that if EN is as "negligible" as they say it is, that he couldn't have just fired someone from there to save a huge portion of their stock price. I will mention that Elira seemed to imply that Riku would make a statement soon, but he actually took about 4-5 hours to make that statement. It's possible that he drafted up another statement after he realised something wasa wrong.

[–]fffffplayer1 27 points28 points  (2 children)

There's a lot of interesting information and I might have to digest it a bit more when I've got time before commenting further.

But in regards to the graduation queue part, I've actually put a lot of time into analysing that and I have to disagree with your assessment. In regards, to graduations happening when contract terms end, I initially had the same impression as you, but then I noticed that Kyo's contract couldn't have ended in February 2024 (assuming a 2-year term), because interviews for ILUNA's wave started in March 2022. I discussed this in more detail in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/kurosanji/comments/1btaoxu/additional_info_on_graduations/

This means that Kyo's graduation couldn't have been due to contract expiration and therefore graduations can happen in other ways, too.

I also previously compiled the information on the recent graduations/terminations (in all of Nijisanji EN, JP and ex-ID) and found that between May and February there was 1-4 graduations (or terminations) every month, with an average of 2.1 graduations per month. If graduations were happening naturally as they were requested, one might expect a somewhat more random distribution across the months. Relevant post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Nijisanji/comments/1b3q5t7/to_put_the_nijisanji_graduation_queue_into/

One thing that crossed my mind, too, as I was reading this. If the info on Kyo starting to plan his graduation around October 2023 is accurate, then it's notable that he didn't graduate up till February. It's probably not in order to complete projects either, because as you mentioned he left a lot of them unfinished. It could potentially be because Kyo had his own reasons not to request the graduation yet (e.g. he wasn't ready to begin activities in his PL account, yet), so we can't know for sure. It's interesting, though, that by October Nijisanji had already announced graduations all the way to January. In the scenario where a queue applies and Kyo requested he leave in October, him being told to wait until the month after that fits in well. On the other hand, there's the fact that there were actually 4 other graduation announcements between those events, so that obscures things more.

We can't know anything for sure, but I think the data out there makes a queue very likely.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Hi, I think you misunderstood what I said about the graduation queue. I'm pretty sure that livers do not graduate at the end of their contract, but sometime in the 3 month period before their contract ends. The reason is that the liver needs to arrange a time when they can do graduation activities. For example, Kyo's graduation date was because he was planning to attend the streamer awards. I think most likely is that when a liver graduates, Nijisanji probably voids the remaining few months of their contract. However, I don't think that they would allow graduations 6 months out for example.

[–]fffffplayer1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see yes, I misunderstood. What you're suggesting makes sense. I haven't looked at everyone's graduations to determine whether the pattern you're referring to holds. I've seen at least one JP member who graduated 6 months before their anniversary, but also they were a pretty old member whose contract might have gone through many re-negotiations.

I think with all the data we've got there's still room for considering the possibility of a queue, but even if we put it aside and go with your idea, that still leaves Nijisanji with some fair wiggle room to re-arrange graduations as they see fit. It might not be a one-year long queue, but when exactly from 5 months prior to when the contract expires you graduate is still up to Nijisanji. With no graduations happening right now, it could be that no ILUNA members, for example, intend to graduate at the moment. Or it could be that after everything that happened, they decided to decline the somewhat earlier graduation to the rest of them, even though they previously gave Kyo one (when they weren't in hot water).

But still, this is very much speculation and I could just be too deep into my analysis to just give up the idea wholsesale. Either way, time will give us the answer, so I probably shouldn't dwell on it too hard.

[–]LongProcessedMeat 19 points20 points  (1 child)

Finana has had a ton of controversies since Zaion, just read this post and the comments to get the TL;DR.

Unfortunately the rabbit hole of Finana's controversies goes deep

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took at look at your post. All of the controversies seem to date back to at least 2022? Can you show me some controversy she was involved in since March 2023?

[–][deleted] 23 points24 points  (1 child)

Yeah, sorry, this thread is not an info dump if its filled with your biased opinions. This thread need a title change.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi, I'm sorry to hear you think that. Is there anything in particular you find to be objectionable?

[–]Frequent_Dig1934 19 points20 points  (8 children)

Thanks for the post, and good job for keeping it all within the word limit. That thing usually sabotages me on every post or comment i make. Like others have pointed out there is some wild speculation in some bits, like riku himself ordering the black stream (may be the case, but i doubt it, and there isn't really much evidence other than the lack of firing of a scapegoat), but generally speaking there is a lot of nice info. That said, a few comments and questions.

She mentioned seeing a therapist and being prescribed depressants.

I think you mean antidepressants.

Selen was not terminated for breaking any rules at Nijisanji or anything related to Last Cup Of Coffee. In fact, I don't think she was even suspended for Last Cup Of Coffee. It seems the reason for Selen's suspension (at least from my understanding of the termination notice) was her suicide attempt. The reason for her termination seems to have been because she refused to return to Nijisanji after her suicide.

First, thankfully suicide attempt and not full on suicide. Second, are you sure about that? I don't remember the termination notice by heart but i'm pretty sure they make a big deal out of her breaking company rules and don't even mention the suicide attempt by name, instead only talking about "being careful about her vulnerable state" or something like that (which we know is bullshit).

Kuro mentioned that he was suicidal while he was in his previous job and about a year and a half ago he tried to commit suicide a few times.

Yeah that sucks for him, i hope he gets better. To be fair though, even after watching that clip when it came out i wasn't sure whether to recommend to the "daily reminder" person to add a third talent to the list of talents who tried to commit suicide since i wasn't sure it was directly related to nijisanji. First off i'm not super clear on the timelines, would the attempts kuro mentioned have been during his period as mysta? Second, sadly if i remember the clip correctly he mentioned that he had been dealing with thoughts like these for a long time, iirc before niji, and is feeling right now as kuro as bad as he did back when he attempted (and dear god i hope nothing comes out of this very ominous phrase). Of course if his stay within nijisanji was traumatic enough the scars from it could have an impact even now, close to a year later, but i'm still not sure the link between niji and the suicide attempt is as clear cut as in the case of sayu and doki.

Mysta seemed to get along well with Holostars' Gavis Bettel. He actually said that he wanted his fanbase to go and join Bettel's fanbase.

Didn't he also collab as kuro with bettel? If true afaik that may be the only case of a holo talent collabing as their holo self with a niji talent after the niji talent reincarnates (excluding the very obvious exception within holo jp).

I'm also skeptical of skinwalking claims - Selen or her parents probably sent her last two tweets from her phone.

Didn't management basically confirm the skinwalking allegations when they mentioned in the termination notice that they removed her access before one of her last tweets, which was still written as selen herself instead of management on selen's account? I guess the idea she wrote the tweet and then got the ok from managememt isn't impossible, but to be honest it seems less likely than management simply writing it themselves.

There were other things i wanted to say/ask but tbh i forgot them while writing these.

[–]giannarelaxneuro-sama oshi haver💜 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Bettel is a real homie for that

[–]Stieby 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Kuro and Gavis collabed multiple times now. One of Kuros frist collabs was with Gavis. Kuro met Altare and Axel in japan earlier this year.

[–]Fiametia 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Idk if Kuro collabed with Bettel on his channel, but they did have a Valorant collab on Altare's channel. U-san was there too

[–]Frequent_Dig1934 5 points6 points  (2 children)

Really, usan was there? I thought it was just that guy who had the vtuber concert which was memed to death (unfairly, considering what niji tries to pass off as a legitimate concert). Iirc the name is dacapo.

[–]Fiametia 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Dacapo is there too along with U-san. I never knew his concert was memed, that's just sad

[–]Frequent_Dig1934 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, clips of it left the target audience, so to speak. "Normies" on twitter saw videos of him just moving his model around and eventually flipping up his hair while the crowd went wild and started to ridicule him, especially since someone circulated the hoax that he made people pay a lot for the concert while iirc it was somewhat included in the ticket of the expo he was in or something like that, which at most cost about 8 dollars. Granted, not all of the memeing about it was malicious, some people just joked about it like kenji, but yeah some people were genuinely upset and mean spirited.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

No, I mean depressants (or is that the wrong word?). You can find the clip here. Pomu mentions that the medicine made her sleepy and they function like antihistamines.

Well, Matara never collabed with Holostars. Quinn has said he's willing to collab with Lando (Dez). I know Kuro mentioned he met Altare in Japan recently (specifically Altare, not his PL Han Byeol). I know Altare replied to his tweet.

I can remove the skinwalking claims from the post.

[–]Frequent_Dig1934 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, I mean depressants (or is that the wrong word?). You can find the clip here. Pomu mentions that the medicine made her sleepy and they function like antihistamines.

Ah ok nevermind.

Well, Matara never collabed with Holostars

That's a shame but i guess she was closest with vesper out of the whole bunch, and he's no longer in holostars, so that makes sense.

Quinn has said he's willing to collab with Lando (Dez)

Ah yeah you're right, and technically he's already had Lando as professor andrews for his debut lore video.

I know Kuro mentioned he met Altare in Japan recently (specifically Altare, not his PL Han Byeol). I know Altare replied to his tweet.

Altare keeps stacking Ws.

I can remove the skinwalking claims from the post.

Eh it's not a call to brigade or stuff like that so i'm not going to ask you to do anything in particular. Your call.

Took away her socials from early january

They themselves admited the oposite

Yeah move on guys just another sister trying to land some bs mixed with reasonable stuff and lots of speculation

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I'm reading Selen's termination notice again. I'm seeing in the document that it says "However, despite frequent communication with Selen Tatsuki's emergency contact while remaining considerate of her situation, we were unable to come to an agreement on how to proceeed. The decision was made to temporarily remove her access to accounts on various social media platforms and video distribution under the name 'Selen Tatsuki'." That doesn't seem to say exactly when her access to her social media was removed. I personally think it's possible that they may have only removed social media access from Selen 5 days later.

Anyways, I removed the skinwalking claims from the post.

[–]AnonTwo 12 points13 points  (1 child)

While I think this is mostly good (there's some bias thoughts here and there, but who can help)

The one I felt need to talk about

The apostrophe rrat has been disproven - Doki is still sending tweets with the "Japanese apostrophe". I'm also skeptical of skinwalking claims - Selen or her parents probably sent her last two tweets from her phone. I think Nijisanji told her not to touch her socials or they would terminate her (so much for that). She probably had to get the OK to send those tweets from management. They then took away access from her socials in early January.

Apostrophe was silly. Skinwalking not so much. For one your theory is technically still skinwalking...but also it'd be ridiculous for them to not allow Selen to do it, but then allow her parents, who aren't even under contract.

I will go and say that if you can source this stuff, it would be really good. While a lot of it is stuff that's been brought up in various places, not everyone is going to know that and even some of the stuff I know happened, I couldn't actually say I remember where. Sources are always good.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I will admit the reason I got lazy with sources it that 1. this post was taking way too long and I didn't really wnat to spend more time on it and 2. apparently this Reddit post is at the word limit (seriously, 40000 characters?). I actually cut some stuff already because it didn't fit. If you want some things specifically sourced, please let me know and I'll try to dig them up (in a day or two...)

[–]GoodIndependence9616 25 points26 points  (4 children)

You should change the title to "Nijisanji Opinion Dump" or "Nijisanji Copium dump" because what you share is not only info but also biased opinions. One example is skinwalker, when Niji clearly state that they took away access to Social Media but you add a COPIUM of "Selen or her parents PROBABLY sent her last two tweets from her phone. I THINK Nijisanji told her not to touch her socials or they would terminate her (so much for that). She PROBABLY had to get the OK to send those tweets from management."

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Hi, I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I believe management told Selen after her suicide attempt to not post anything on Twitter, but they hadn't taken away her credentials yet - they instead threatened to fire her if she posted anything on Twitter. When management realized that the threat wasn't enough, they then removed her access from social media. Anyways, I've also removed that from the post because people seemed to think it wasn't true.

[–]GoodIndependence9616 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Why would people think it's true when there's no source for your 'theory'?

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] -4 points-3 points  (1 child)

True, but the skin walking theory doesn't have a source either.

[–]GoodIndependence9616 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you think that connecting the dots from the fact that exist is not a source, then sure it has no source.

Fact 1: Selen in hiatus, Fact 2: Niji claimed that they took access of Selen social media, Fact 3: Selen make several twit in her hiatus.

Question: If Selen had her access to social media taken, then who is the one who post that twit?

Your answer: Must be Selen Parents or Selen herself

General People: If Niji take her access, then except Niji, who else that can access her social media?

[–]killme_please_ 19 points20 points  (1 child)

Nice writing skills but mad copium brother. Other than your biased opinions and crazy assumptions, some of the stuff you wrote is just factually incorrect.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi, as I mentioned before. I'm willing to make corrections. Is there anything in particular you have a problem with?

[–]Fiametia 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Despite some points being moreso assumptions than factual, this is still a good summary for the niji talents. Thank you for compiling this

In June, apparently he had a drunk members stream where he talked about his issues with his gender identity. This stream was later taken down.

That stream is actually Ib remake with batsu stream, not drunk members stream. Yugo was playing Ib remake with batsu where he will drink one shot of alcohol if he screamed or lost health in-game. After drinking a few shots of alcohol, Yugo became drunk and started to vent. I remember Sonny was in chat, feeling worried about Yugo. After the stream, Sonny scolded Yugo for making him (Sonny) and the viewers worried.

The next day, Yugo played Ib remake again but without batsu on stream. Before he played Ib remake, he apologized to his fans and viewers for making them worried. Yugo said that Sonny scolded him after the stream. Yugo promised not to do drinking streams again unless he is with other people. Yugo also said that he went to the doctor for a checkup and the doctor said that he is fine.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

OK, thanks for letting me know. It's hard for me to check Yugo since all of his VODs are gone. I'll correct that in the post.

[–]RussianSpyBot_1337 23 points24 points  (2 children)

I'm also skeptical of skinwalking claims - Selen or her parents probably sent her last two tweets from her phone

I think you defend Niji a bit too much here. The first thing sudoku attempt survivors lose is access the smartphone. Everything that can influence their state is managed and supervised. Assuming Niji would allow her parents to manage her account is even more delusional.

P.S. I strongly suspect that you are one VERY smart NIJISISTER in disguise, doing your best at de-escalation and making Niji management look as good as you can without being too obvious about it.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I mentioned in my post that I'm anti-Niji lol. I still watch Enna, for example (though I've never given money to Nijisanji). I personally think Riku should be removed as CEO because I think a lot of problems seem to stem from him. And no, I do not think Nijsanji's management is at all competent or good!

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nijisanji would have needed to fly someone out to Selen's place of residence to watch over her. Remember, the liver phone is just an iPhone. I think that Selen's parents definitely could have been able to get past the lock screen, where her Twitter would be easily accessible. Anyways, I've removed the skinwalking claims since a lot of people took issue with it.

[–]Sky3Fa11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally the thing that stands out to me the most is how many members just… don’t get along with each other. Compare that to Hololive or Phase Connect where it seems everyone is at least friendly acquaintances, and it paints a stark contrast of their environments.

[–]NekRules 5 points6 points  (1 child)

The misinformation on Selen, Nina, Zaion and Yugo alone made this "info dump" a biased one which leans towards the NDF and the sisters. Nice try trying to disguise yourself and blend in but the ONE part you shouldv got right was Selen and you couldnt even do that right.

Also, I feel like I seen this before on the main Niji sub before.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, is there anything in particular you consider misinformation? I tried to be as impartial as possible with those people especially (I really like Selen by the way. The only reason I'm willing to look as deeply into this is because I enjoyed her stream). I'm going to remove the skinwalking claims since a lot of people since to have issues with that.

[–]Realistic_Remote_874Silly Autistic Vtuber Fan awawa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So not only Sayu, Doki, and potentially Aia, but KURO as well?! God damn...!

[–]jyukaku 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Dedication right there.

[–]Mirrro_Sunbreeze 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Riku/JP ordering black screen doesn’t make sense as literally few hours later Riku’s video comes out, contradicting some of liver’s statements.

Unless we’re entertaining a possibility of Riku/JP management intentionally sabotaging Elira/Vox/Ike. Which I find hard to believe.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a few hours would be enough to make a different statement, especially since Elira seemed to imply Riku was making the statement very soon rather than 4-5 hours later.

[–]Haunting-Ad-8816[🍰] 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Dedication I must say, but also jeeeesus this does not seem good for your mental health I swear. The only info (that I will not disclose) I have is related to Enna and Mika since I followed and still am following them.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol, don't worry about my mental health. I spent way too much time on this, but it was more like a few hours a week. I've been wanting to post something like this since February, but I got lazy multiple times.

[–]double_rainbows2020 5 points6 points  (3 children)

wait, vox has ADD?

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Yeah, here's the source stream. i got diagnosed

[–]Treasure_Hoonter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wasn't he also diagnosed with CPTSD? Or was that just his doctor saying that Vox could have it but with no official diagnosis?

[–]double_rainbows2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks.

[–]ajshell1 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I'm seeing a lot of claims here and not enough sources.

So let me help you a bit:

Another thing to add to the Selen section: In May of 2023, she simply posts "Tired" to her Dokibird Twitter, which is likely due to the outfit contest thing.

The Enna stream with Kyo was on October 26, 2022 here. Her apologies are here and here

As for Matara, her birthday is February 4th, and on her birthday stream she directly mentioned Dearsqn: https://clips.twitch.tv/InquisitiveLazyLocustPrimeMe-MrxnUPgiuoAxJtr2. And she's been mentioning Pomu indirectly since debut (the Chihuahua figure in her lore video is a reference her, and Pomu made a tweet about it that got deleted).

Her new model debut was supposed to be on the 5th... and it's pretty clear why that was pushed back to the 8th. She mentioned at first that she had food poisoning, but on her actual model debut stream she said that none of her roommates got sick, but she threw up (I forget whether she said twice or more than once), and she now thinks it was stress related. I distinctly remember her saying on her birthday stream that her new model wasn't working in Vtube studio yet, and that there was supposed to be a new song/cover that was supposed to release on her birthday but would have to be delayed (it hasn't come out yet).

Also, as of this moment, Matara is following Reimu's PL twitter, and they have interacted several times. I'm getting the same feeling that I felt when I saw Matara and Kuro debut (foreshadowing Mika's graduation), Matara's repeated references to Pomu (foreshadowing her graduation), and when I found Quinn following Mika's vent-account turned post-graduation Twitter (foreshadowing Kyo's graduation).

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, as I mentioned before, the reason I kinda skimped on sources is that a. this post was taking way too long and b. apparently I'm at the reddit word limit. Thanks for the sources! I've noticed you flitting around on Twitter and in Matara's stream - I know you're doing good work there as well. If there's anything you want me to source, let me know and I'll try to dig it up.

[–]Shizuoya 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Damn this is a lot but I just saw the ending notes and holy shit, blacklisting Ironmouse sure is a fucking choice Kurosanji

[–]KRBuildGenius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blacklisting the one of the most popular female streamers on Twitch is one of the the dumbest moves ever.

[–]TheOwlet16 4 points5 points  (3 children)

Just would like to add, in regards to collabs, I don't think that's enough of a substantial proof of their relationship personally, because you can work with somebody without being friends to them and vice versa. I don't think anyone disclosed this from Niji, but at least in Holo, collabs are done based on schedule as first priority. Examples are Calli and Kiara, they're close to each other before Holo and did of collabs since they live in Japan together unlike Ame, Gura or Ina. But after Kiara's move back to Austria, they started to collab less due to timezones, though Calli has mentioned that they're still close friends in private.

Even in JP side where timezones are less of an issue this is also true, Noel and Flare are close friends in real life but for the past few years they haven't collaborated as much as they were back when they started. Pekora on the other hand is on the other side of the spectrum, in the fact that she has disclosed that she keeps her work and personal life entirely separate, so her collab partners are highly likely not as close to her on a personal level, (with maybe the exception of her Gen mates but they also shared that Pekora doesn't really hangout with them outside the job).

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

That is true. However, some of these relationships were explicitly stated by the member. For example, Enna has stated before explicitly that she's isn't close with Pomu or Uki.

[–]TheOwlet16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm not denying that either, but for those with no confirmation, it's probably best to assume they might just be professionally close or mere acquaintances.

[–]vtubesimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Parr of the reason Flare and Noel stopped collabing so much (apart from shiraken or gen 3 stuff) is that fans got too involved with their relationship (not just shipping issues but making drama if one of them collabed with someone else). This is also partially true for Kiara and Calli who also had to make a statement about it.

While, collabs don't mean closeness they do at least imply it (at least more than not collabing implies not getting along) given you are unlikely to want to collab much with someone you don't get along with if given the option not to, at least not without good reason. And the option not to fits seen to be an option for at least some of the talents.

[–]EvangelionSol 9 points10 points  (1 child)

i had to check very closely your talking about the controversial talents, nice try nijisister, almost got me but the more details you try to put the more fake it becomes

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, it's true a lot of it is conjecture. Do you have anything you have a problem with in particular? (Especially with the controversial talents)

[–]UltraZulwarn 6 points7 points  (6 children)

thanks for the write up, and I agree with most of what you have listed.

I for one, do not think the talents are that "evil".

Granted, I am a bit biased as I used to watch Elira quite a bit, loved loved her playthrogh of the Xenoblade saga, and I really vibed with her demeanor.

I don't think she was malicious, most likely got ropped in the internal strife and clashes between individuals that were left festered because of mismanagement.

I wouldn't be surprised she "volunteered" her channel after "management" asked around who would take the risk.

The black screen stream really was the WORST idea ever, it killed whatever potential sympathy that the majority of the (now former) fanbase may have.

For Fulgur, the quote is:

Yeah Council didn't do as good as they expected then Luxiem became massive. Seems their a little scared. I'm just not sure if they do it like the Japanese side with the idol mentality of genders being separated if it will work at all
But yeah. They were mad about Niji apps again so fast for sure lmao

Honestly, it wasn't actually that bad, but holo fans HATED talking about numbers as they could sound very demeaning and discouraging.

One of the most famous clips in hololive history was about Aki Rosenthal and how she often felt lost and down as she had the lowest numbers among her colleagues. She wasn't asking for sympathy or support, but was thanking the fans who had been supporting her: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dLHc40dhc4

for added context, the discord leak was about the time Cover announced audition call for holostarsEN, hence all the comparison to Luxiem.

What I dislike about this particular incident now is that they (Nijisanji) will get compared to hololive to oblivion, there is no holding back and no regard to feeling or relative success, everything will be chalked up as "failure" when put next to the ever growing and stable hololive's numbers.

[–]Equal_Bee_9671 5 points6 points  (0 children)

what i hate also is holostarEN is a result of a fking hard work for years of starJP, and it got downgrade to a reaction of scare from cover. i will say star fan is more boiling angry than council fan.

[–]TemporaryWonderful61 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Honestly as a Holofan I thought Fulgur was a bit of an ass, but I didn't put too much stock on it. Hell I run my mouth in anonymous forums. When Ollie and Ironmouse vouched for him, honestly my forgiveness was instant.

I think I can determine how much I really want to speak to another Hololive fan by their opinion of some three year comments the dude made in private, and thankfully, most of them seem to consider the matter way overblown. Fulgur seems cool and it's sad that it was many people's first impression.

[–]UltraZulwarn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

honestly same.

i am aware of Fulgur’s good reputation, but unfortunately my first impression of him was ruined and even to this day I cannot quite enjoy his content

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm an Aloupeep, so I understand lol. I really hope that things behind the scenes aren't as bad as they seem.

[–]ciarannihill 2 points3 points  (1 child)

The leaked conversation thing reads a little worse in context, in large part because the conversation prior to that point is open to speculation? Like the comment about how "Luxiem is making as much money as the top Jp holo talents" (which fwiw was only accurate if you only consider superchats as revenue) makes the focus on Council numbers feel a bit more "gross" to a lot of people because it feels very money focused?

I'm not saying it wasn't and isn't still overblown, but the context makes the quote feel more numbers and revenue focused which always frustrates fans of content creators. Especially when it feels targeted?

[–]UltraZulwarn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

pretty much

and now, i hate it that I won't feel gross talking "numbers" down NijiEN, like my brain will be like "well, they started it!"

of course, I will never do this on their streams or social media, just talking smack around here.

and I will never talk numbers regarding hololive or any other agencies.

[–]BlueBerrrySconeEx Lucub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shu and Luca being close makes so much sense LMAO

[–]0_momentum_0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, what seems to be definitely factual here are the collab numbers between talents. Making the black screen video even more fucked up. Because it seems only people that were close to Selen were on it.

And if I got that right, it mirrors the Zaion incident. Finana was said to have been one of the most vocal defenders of Zaion up untill that video.

In both cases Niji /Anycolor seems to have made some of the persons closest to the target do the defamation.

It just further shows how fucked up niji management is.

Edit: I also remember the Discord screen leak from a year or two ago and how thanks to that it came out that Mysta was suffering from depression.

[–]Puppin_Tea_16 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Selen and Nina dated? Where did this idea come from? Genuinely curious

[–]AnonTwo 5 points6 points  (1 child)

It's a different usage of dating. It's a timeframe.

Like date as in the day/week/year.

[–]Puppin_Tea_16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my bad! I misread. Thank you

[–]HappyAd9257 1 point2 points  (1 child)

In March 2023, Yugo receives what is Niji EN's first shadow suspension when he tweeted something insensitive about the earthquake in Japan. He goes radio silent for a week.

Yugo didn't tweet something insensitive about the earthquake in Japan. He did a stream, teaching viewers about do's and don'ts during earthquake. He did make some jokes while he was teaching viewers on stream. After the stream, Yugo got bashed by some Japanese people for that stream. Yugo decided to unarchive that stream and did a self-suspension for one week. I remember Yugo tweeting a message, saying that he won't be streaming for a week. After one week, Yugo apologized to Japanese people for the earthquake awareness stream.

Of course Yugo didn't made fun of earthquake victims. He just wants to make the earthquake awareness stream funny.

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, thanks for the correction, I'll fix that. As I mentioned, I wasn't watching Niji in that time period and all of Yugo's stuff is gone.

[–]YuniChan_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk but hex definitely doesnt seem close to doppio. Though it seems that they were supposed to be a pair (appointed by nijisanji or what I'm not sure)

A question I have been curious about for a long time now. Does nijisanji appoint livers to have a certain dynamic or friendship with other livers?

[–]kLeos_ 0 points1 point  (1 child)

.in truth this doesn't count as an info dump as there is as much interpretation and opinions waded in as the general info

.not to mention the amount of pure speculation brought out as solid info, I speculate a lot too and there is nothing wrong with it as long as you are clear that what you're saying is not actual intel but speculation

.this post is closer to misinformation because of the mix up between general info with the unreliable info and opinions then wrapped everything as a general info dump

.could be fine if a clear line is drawn between the actual/questionable/opinions, but as it is this is like telling some truth while sneaking some opinions or out right lies all to be accepted as the general truth

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you're right. I should have named it rumor dump lol (why can't you change titles on Reddit...). However, I will say that many Niji fans on Twitter share the same opinions that I do.

[–]No-Variation-1221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are stupid bro. Ain't no way you think the account puppeteering is not a thing even when it's a known fact that Any color skin walks accounts to advertise and post. No way you're this ignorant. Lol

[–]MORDKAu 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Although Vox and Ike may not have anything to do with Elira, it's likely that they were put onto the stream because they were some of Selen's most common collab partners, like you said.

Nijisanji probably thought that it'd be a good idea to "turn a couple of Selen's close friends against her", to make it easier for her to look like a Folk Devil.

[–]MORDKAu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh shit this was made 96 days ago I didn't even see the date

[–]NegligibleAtReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everybody, thanks for the positive feedback. I feel slightly better about posting this now. As I've mentioned in some comments, I've removed the skin walking portion.

At the same time though, I'm kind of confused why everybody is so caught up on the skin walking? Whether Selen was skinwalked or not doesn't really change much about Nijisanji (being skinwalked actually makes the livers look better). I thought that other portions of this would be more objectionable.
