Like you, I found it rather rough around the edges for now but I’m sure that’ll only improve over time.

@FRYTG Hermes as a vm on top of Proxmox. Llama.cpp on the backend on the Mac
Set up a Hermes instance last night with a few different local models hooked up from my Mac.
I’ve hooked that up to home assistant via an mcp server, and have already automated more little QOL things in the last few hrs than I have in the last few months.
Absolutely end game being able to use natural language to debug automations via telegram without having to tether to a computer.
This is huge!

We'll see how it goes.</p>
