Clayton Wood confirms my thoughts as well. I've tried to express similar thoughts on this site, but haven't done it as well.

I will add: The humiliation of Iran's leadership is very real. Their people know it. Their people also know they've a drinking water shortage specifically because of mismanagement. IRGC soldiers have homes and families too. They hear from their families and neighbors and know the discontent.

With the fighting happening within Iran leadership now, I suspect more changes will be coming.

We Americans are not a patient people, but we should be on Iran. Let them hang themselves, or have their neighbors subvert the IRGC (no love between Sunni and Shia, and the IRGC just crapped down the well).

Very much my opinion too (and therefore correct ;) ) .

One thing I keep wondering about is the extent to which some, mainly European, players intentionally left tankers locked in (or out in some cases) to play the oil markets and to what extent, if any, they'll get what they deserve for this through downstream American and/or Russian/Chinese /indian decisions on trade and dollar access.
