This one was WAY better than the last live action one made (I'm forgetting the name). Had the best actual terminator actor since 2 imo

Saw that with my roomie back when it was in the theater. We both had fun, was interested in seeing where it would have gone.

I got the film and the Terminator Genisys Endo Skull Limited Edition. I have fun with this movie for sure. Even though it's not the Bluray extended version (got). The DVD case with Endo Skull face is also very cool with the Salvation film.

I think I saw this in 2017 and I remember liking it right up to the part where there was a bus chase on the Golden Gate Bridge, and then it diminished from there, but I can't remember why. As late sequels go it actually had a strong start and a good idea. Like most Terminator movies it gave away the twist in the trailer, they should have played that card closer to the chest.

T3 is still my favorite T2 sequel, but this one gets second. If all the T3 timelines are just shuffling the deck of cards of John Connor, Sarah, Kyle, and the T-101, this one gets wild with it and I appreciate that. I enjoy Dark Fate, but it feels to much like T2 for me. The only Terminator sequel I don’t care for anymore is the Christian Bale one. I like most of the movie, but I can’t stand Bale doing his stupid Batman voice the whole time. I almost want to say maybe that’s what he thinks an American accent is, but he got it right already in American Psycho. He sounds like a 10 year old imitating his dad.

See, I feel towards most of these post-T2 films in the franchise like I feel towards the first Tom Cruise Mission Impossible: Very enjoyable as a film unto ITSELF...when you don't really take continuity into account: In the M:I case, Jim Phelps was the hero of the original series--and in the movie, WHATTA TWEEST, he's the traitor in the end! Here...Ahnold LITERALLY sacrifices himself at the end of T2 (AFTER T-1000 is destroyed) to prevent the dark future--Skynet, etc--from ever happening. With the SOLE exception of the Christian Bale one (and, eh, MAYBE Genysis--but that was like a "soft reboot"), ANY sequel set after that makes it look like his heroic sacrifice was a stupid move he made for nothing. Again, the movies THEMSELVES are solid and enjoyable...but you gotta make sure to "forget" that little detail....
