In my opinion Sony releasing a Spiderman movie called Kraven whatever was wrong. The Marvel comic book Kravon's Last Hunt is the story waiting for the movie screen. Everything from the original source material is right there. When one of Spiderman's oldest foes Kravon The Hunter straight up ends Spiderman and buries him six feet below well... That's when things get really interesting.
Never did understand the online discourse ripping on the new Superman movie when it came out. I felt that people who didn't at least somewhat appreciate what it was going for are pretty jaded. I was high on good-nature for a couple days after leaving the theater lol. I wanted to be a more kind, patient dude after watching it; which I cant say I've felt in any superhero movie
Peace Maker absolutely no comic reference and loved the show. Superman/Supergirl I do have comic reference. I liked earnest Superman 2025 and I do have that figure with the Cavil figure. I can like both dark/light Snyder/Gunn-verse. Zack did a Watchmen style for DC. Gun is dare I say more Batman 69 (with added cheeky humour). 69 was/is madcap and goofy, but I rewatch that movie annually and Batman is ever the earnest straight man in all that.
Read WoT and glad the trailer looks they upped the pacing with the pop music style and added more comedy chaos with Lobo. WoT is almost a classical serious dry affair. The slowest of slow comic burns.
Fave version of Supergirl New 52. The character really hammers home the culture shock and raw immediate grief. Krypton is in the abstract for Clark a history lesson, but Kara lived it. WoT is less anger than 52, but a more deeper sadness.
Just happy to see how this variant plays out at the cinema. Supergirl of all characters has many variants and variations in the variants like Matrix or the symbiosis of two people.
Best of times, worst of times. A fan without hype is living in the worst of times.
