Now Apple is putting the extensive identifiable analytics they collect in the App Store in action. They record every tap and there's no way to turn it off. They can even calculate your typing speed. This is what the App Store sends to Apple when I searched for "Tim cook":

Interesting experiment:
Just for fun, I generated a 1000-character text and pasted it in the search field in the App Store. Well, the analytics captured the entire text, linked it to my ID and sent it to Apple, before even pushing "enter". Now imagine you accidentally paste something private in there🙃

Isn’t this just search suggestions working as intended? Almost all search services work like this.

No, this is app analytics. It's not the endpoint that returns search results as you type.

Yes, this one is mean. Because users have no other option. If you don't like Apple Music privacy options, you can stream music from Spotify. But where else can you download apps on the iPhone?

Where do you find this data? I do not see it in my app store click activity export, though I have blocked some telemetry domains.

Go to (privacy . apple . com) and request a copy of your data. Then Apple sends you all data the have on you, including your App Store activities like this one shown in the screenshot.

What is the issue with that? You explained your obsession with what they do but what is the issue with that? Do you always cry like a little bitch about everything? I am as pro privacy as it comes, I've gone through massive lawsuits with major companies. What the fuck so the problem here?

I dont see an issue with this as long its on the app store only. This will be an issue if they start selling this data to 3rd parties (or forced to share it). I'd rather have my data stay on the platform I'm using than all over the place.

I’ve always said that Apple is as bad as Google, if not worse. But Apple hides behind perhaps the best marketing and advertising in the world.
