日本の音楽を世界に発信する為のアワードでJpopの文脈を無視した音楽をカルチャーとして推すのはおかしい。

It depends on if you consider Japanese conductors, singers, and instrumentalists 'Japan's pride.' The globally recognized ones literally wear foreign clothes to perform foreign music with foreign orchestras for foreign audiences—way more so than XG ever has. But you do you.
