This game is a arcade style shooting game created by Team of Monkeys. The game play leverages the pointer/cursor feature of WebOS and enables players to enjoy a highly engaging and fun experience of training their aim on a target, and shooting. The WebOS pointer/cursor feature is a bit off and doesn't work 100% because of the nature of the accelometers and sensors that decide where the cursor is being directed. This is why the game got the name Loose Cannon, as it doesn't exclusively point to the exact direction you want to fire, much how an actual loose cannon would be aimed.

The offset pointing and aiming adds to the reality and fun of the game, demanding a bit more coordination and thought from each player. The targets in the game range from emoji based graphics of typical flying things such as airplanes, helicopters, balloons, kites and other things that one might see in the sky (Cable cars, birds, drones) as well as more playful levels that have UFOs, office equipment, bombs, food, and other fun things to target.

The ammo count in the game doubles each time a target is taken down with that ammo. By frequently switching ammo (using left and right arrows) players can build up a strong ammo supply in the ealier levels, which comes in very handy in the more difficult levels.

For optimal game experience, we suggest stepping back about 2-3 TV sizes away from the screen. This ensures that the movement of the Magic Remote matches that of what you'd expect when it comes to small adjustments.

If the "Cannon" gets too offset in the aim. You can press it against the edges of your screen to try an recalibrate it, or by shaking the remote to have it center in the middle of the screen. A combination of both methods, which can take some time to get good at, is the most ideal way to enjoy this game.

The current version of the Loose Cannon game has 70 levels. Additional levels, new targets, and other features are constantly being rolled out with updates.
