This rare electric super car broke world speed records.

Released by Yangwang, BYD’s luxury brand, the U9 is a supercar aimed at delivering the ultimate in power, technology and speed in the electric era. It uses the proprietary e⁴ platform, featuring four electric motors that produce a total system output of 960 kW, or roughly 1286 HP. It accelerates from 0-62.1 mph in 2.36 seconds. In 2025, the high-performance U9 Xtreme variant attempted to set a world speed record, reaching 308.3 mph.
