Dodgers Take Long View With River Ryan’s Development
River Ryan is a major league-ready pitching prospect. The 27-year-old righthander is just waiting for his chance.
“He looks great,” Dodgers GM Brandon Gomes said in May. “The stuff coming out of his hand is awesome.”
Despite the fact that Dodgers starters Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow were on the Injured list—with no expectation of an imminent return—Ryan remained with Triple-A Oklahoma City.
