Game Synopsis:

Back in 2002, my brother made a game in RPG Maker 2000 called Legacy. This is based on that game, re-imagined to (hopefully) cater to a more modern audience. Saying that, there's undoubtedly going to be influences from the original game that makes a showing here. Such as having "regular" random encounters (albeit with an altered random number generator), as opposed to on-touch encounters, and unabashedly using songs from RPG Maker 2K's RTP.

Screenshots

I like this character waaaaaay too much for my own good.

Early build of the rebel camp.

Sorry, I have a thing for cameos.
Features:

-About 1-2 hours of gameplay!

-Crappy attempt at nostalgia!

Credits:

While most graphics are from the VX RTP, there are a few exceptions. One is the "Grappler02" battler from RPG Maker XP's RTP, and the other is a sprite from tabinoyadokari.web. Both of these are a reference to a character in Wyrm Warriors.

As noted, some music is from the RPG Maker 2K RTP.

Does anyone still have the RMXP and RMVX copies of Self Data Suite (I could try to find it myself, but I'd have to look for my external HD.)
Do y'all know about those old pokèmon glitches from WAYYY back in the day?
I thought it's really cool and creepy.
I just love them!
(Planning to add something like this kinda distortion stuff in a game sometime in the future maybe.. like lil graphical errors, tilesheet distortions.etc]
Posting for the day-crowd. You need tall sprites, I have all of them:

Decided to stop by for the first time in years and what the heck
News of the forum shutting down is on Dexerto and is a top post on r/indiedev. Maybe there is a real chance they will walk back on this whole thing altogether if the backlash gets big enough.
