Hey, I'm Deveroux, and this was my entry for the Fall Festival Contest. Which I'm sharing now... Because, you know, it's winter... Yeah... I managed to get third place, though, so it can't be too bad.

So that's that! It takes about 20~ minutes to finish the game, though you can certainly go through it multiple times for different endings.
It is my first game, and I am completely open for criticism and suggestions for either this or future projects. I haven't changed much since entering it, but maybe if I get really bored someday I'll make an expanded version that isn't so linear.
Thanks to anyone who plays. I really did have a lot of fun making it. I hope you enjoy the game and the overly intense two-frame pie animations!

Story:
Micah, an up-and-coming lawyer, returns to his hometown as per his mother’s demand. Incidentally, he arrives just in time for the village’s annual Fall Fest. He quickly meets Autumn, a pushy and slightly wild girl, and is dragged along with her throughout the day. Despite his reserved attitude, Autumn forces him to participate in everything the festival has to offer whether he wants to or not, be it having an alligator painted on his face or getting his face stuffed with pie. As the festival progresses, Micah may either be thoroughly annoyed by Autumn’s antics or drawn in by them. It’s meant as a simple and fun little love story. Not too much else to it, which is probably why this thread is so short.
World:
The story takes place in the small, rural village where Micah grew up. Most of the game is played on the festival grounds, where Micah can play the piano, get his face painted, converse with random festival-goers, and do other random festival stuff. You can also go to the obstacle course and participate in a scavenger hunt. The game operates primarily visual novel style, and the story is mostly linear until the end.
