VX Tiranogg: Land of Promise

Join Laine and her friends as they search for the lost isle of Raguel in her quest to prove herself as the true heir of Sangreal! But what lurks in the shadows? Who is the strange Indech who has suddenly proclaimed himself the ruler of Sangreal? Can our wise-cracking mercenary foil his dastardly plans?

Tiranogg is a complete remaster of my first game, Enelysion, which I completed in November 2014. Old timers on this forum, especially those from the now defunct rpgmakervx.net, will recall that the game made its first appearance back in early 2011. Wow, that was a decade ago...

Inspired by Ara Fell, which was a passion project by badluck, I decided to reboot Enelysion from the ground up (though still using RPGMaker VX) and redo everything. From the writing to the plot to the visuals to the music.

And that's how I ended up with Tiranogg!

Luchino you have done a great job on enelysion. i absolutely love your mapping. (by the way your tutorials are great). i played the demo and apart from the errors some reported i liked it.

This game looks lovely, I like the images for cut scenes, brings back memories from Phantasy Star 4. The characters themselves are well done.

I usually prefer front view battles but that's a personal preference.

Yes, I got the idea for the image based cutscenes from PS4, since it was my first ever RPG, and it did bring back memories.

@Indinera: Oh yes. PS4 had one very memorable scene that reverberates down the line more than a decade after I played it( through the wonders of emulation, no less ), and only a few days ago, I started listening to the soundtrack again. I think I was just lucky that it was my first, since it began my obession with RPGs in the first place.

@Luna: Thank you. I'm very happy with the way the custom art is coming along. Speaking of art, here are the finished full-body artwork ( with emotions ) of both Laine and Patrick.

@arcana23: Wow, nasty PC you have there. I'll see what I can do, since I'm working from my old PC and I don't have the most up to date version of Enelysion yet. The one currently available was released May last year, so it's a pretty outdated one.Unless you want to wait for the 5.5 hour release ( current version is 2 hrs long ).

Yea, my PC is from HP and it came with all these features and a nasty antivirus thing called Norton. I wonder if you just put it in a folder and right clicked it and see if there is a compress option...

I was able to retrieve the file from norton's quarintine and now I can make it safe and it will no longer be deleted so all is good! No worries, sorry if I troubled you!
