_{Just to be clear so people don't get confused on how she communicates: She does talk (and sign at the same time so she knows what she's saying), but prefers to be quiet most of the time. Nalani prefers sign language over just talking because movement to her is a way to express who she is as an individual (and it can be quite fun lol). If someone wants to have a conversation with her, Nalani needs an interpreter with her at all times.
