Holding Back the Years: 40 Years of Simply Red, Live in Santiago

Simply Red are pleased to announce that their concert film ‘Holding Back the Years: 40 Years of Simply Red, Live in Santiago’ will be released across multiple formats on June 26. Filmed at Chile’s Movistar Arena, the release captures five sold-out shows from the band’s 40th Anniversary Tour, part of a global run that saw them perform to over a million fans. Originally released in cinemas, the film presents the live show in full and showcases a set packed with classic hits including ‘Stars’, ‘Holding Back the Years’, ‘If You Don’t Know Me By Now’, ‘Something Got Me Started’ and ‘Fairground’, alongside the energy of one of their most passionate audiences. The film will be available on DVD and Blu-ray, with the live audio released on 2CD and 3LP. A deluxe edition will also be available, featuring a 48-page artbook of live photography from the Santiago shows. This edition includes four discs: the DVD and Blu-ray of the film, along with 2CDs of the live audio.
