Hey. Love this artwork. I just purchased it. It says, Pixel-perfect grid. But I notice the floor tiles are all rectangular. Some are like, 142x176? And others appear to be around 176x182, which is an odd size. To make a grid, I was expecting all of the tiles to be square. Is there a reason they're odd proportions? I'll try to resize them manually. Usually tilesets are multiples of 16x16 (32x32, 64x64, etc)
Hey Nibbly_Pig! Thank you so much for the purchase and the kind words! 😊
Great question! The tiles are intentionally designed with those proportions rather than standard square sizes. This allows them to preserve their quality and visual integrity when scaled up or down, since different assets may need different scaling depending on how they're used in your project.
I understand it might feel unexpected compared to traditional tilesets, but the idea is to give you more flexibility without losing quality at any resolution.
If you need any additional help, feel free to reach out to me directly via email and I'll be happy to assist you further! And if for any reason the pack doesn't meet your needs, I can also help you with a refund. 🐸
Thanks, I tried scaling and you're right - honestly it looks completely fine! Do you think there's enough to create a tiled floor, I was looking at the background image for your page, I guess you just mirrored and flipped the tile? It seems to work.
Have you considered by the way putting an image of a map made with all of your tiles combined, like many other people on itch do, so you can see what it looks like when lots of the tiles are combined together?
Hey! Glad to hear the scaling worked out! 😊
And yes, I've actually thought about it — I'll definitely try to include a combined map preview for upcoming packs, thank you so much for the suggestion, it's really helpful!
If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to reach out through the email on my profile and I'll be happy to help. I hope your project turns out amazing! 🐸✨
Thanks. I tried building something with the tiles, but they have shadow on the bottom, which makes rotation look very strange:
If I crop the shadow out then rotation and placement is much better, but the result is not quite clean. I will try some other ways of cropping, perhaps a simple black line can be re-added to the bottom instead of fading but it does not really seem to tessellate so well without one:
Hi man, ii need a little help...i buy this tileset for rpg maker mz,but the proportions not is 32X32, for the sprites...have you any tip?
Hi! Thank you so much for your support and for purchasing the tileset pack.
I’m really sorry that you’re having trouble with the proportions in RPG Maker MZ. Unfortunately, RPG Maker can sometimes be a bit difficult depending on the version, tile settings, scaling configuration, and how the engine handles sprites and tilesets internally.
Some of my assets are made with a more flexible/custom workflow in mind, so in certain cases they may require manual adjustment or resizing to better fit a specific RPG Maker setup.
I truly apologize for the inconvenience and understand how frustrating this can be.
If you’re unable to make the assets work properly for your project, please don’t worry — you are absolutely welcome to request a refund through itch.io, and I will gladly help you with the process as well.
I always want people to feel comfortable and happy with their purchase.
Thank you again for your support, and I wish you the best of luck with your game project! ✨
thank's man,no problem for the refund...you doing a beautiful works...if don't have any tips thank's you
I bought a pack, but I haven't used the sprites yet, they're so beautiful that I'm afraid I might not use them properly, so I'd rather just enjoy looking at them :) Okay, seriously, I have a few game projects coming up in the near future that are in the medieval horror genre
Thank you so much, that genuinely means a lot to hear 😊
I’m really happy you liked the sprites, and honestly, hearing that they inspired ideas for future projects is one of the best compliments I could receive.
Your medieval horror projects sound incredibly interesting already 👀 If you ever need help with assets, custom work, variations, or even just want feedback on visual direction, feel free to reach out anytime — I’d be more than happy to help however I can.
Good luck with your upcoming games, and thanks again for the support! 🖤
I'm creating a restaurant management game, but set in a medieval horror setting. It's also part of my learning process with the Godot engine. It would be great if a furniture set for a medieval tavern/restaurant were to be released in the future.
Thanks again, and now I'm getting started on programming the game :)!
Hello, I bought this material package, but I found that there are no corner tiles on the wall and tiles on the door in the demo. Will it be updated later?
Hi! Thank you so much for pointing this out and for supporting the pack.
I’ve already fixed this in the latest update. The corner tiles and all of their variants are now included in the Patch 1 file.
Thank you for your feedback — it really helps me improve the pack and make it more complete for everyone.
I truly appreciate your support, and I hope the update makes everything much easier to use in your project!
