Welcome! I’m Nicole 😍👋🏽
I’m so glad you’re here and I wanted to introduce myself/catch you up to speed, so here are the cliff notes:
1. I was born and raised in Staten Island, NY where I grew up playing basketball in parks and gyms all around NYC since I was 8.
2. I played Division 1 basketball at Hofstra University (@hofstrawbb) in Long Island NY, where I graduated with a BS in Exercise Science.
3. I have been coaching nutrition and fitness for people in all walks of life since 2013 (12 years!) and this is my absolute passion.
4. I own and operate @honoryournutrition which was originally established in 2014. I coach 1:1 nutrition and write numerous training programs. I love working with people in ALL seasons of life (especially pregnancy and postpartum!) to help them develop a sustainable and realistic approach to nutrition, fitness, and health.
5. In 2018, I married the BEST dude @brenton.roggow. We have built an incredible life TOGETHER and I love living it with him.
6. We had 3 perfect babies in less than 5 years 😅- Reign (almost 6), Rylin (4) and Quenton (2)
7. Before having kids, I went to CF Regionals 4x, finishing at the @crossfitgames in 2016. During those years, I also lifted on a @usa_weightlifting national stage 13 times.
8. After having my last baby, I decided I wanted to find something to compete in. I now run often and race Hyrox when my family schedule allows. It’s been so fun to get into something new and explore the world of RUNNING 🤩
9. I do a Q+A every FRIDAY on my page where I open the floor to questions (they can get missed in my DMs).This is always such a fun day to interact with you and understand what you are here to learn about. Participate in this whenever you have questions!
10. I have had a large social media following since 2014 and it’s a great honor to me. I will always show up here as authentic as possible while keeping things fun and informative for you. What you see on here is MEEEE and thats exactly how I like it! Please be respectful and nice ♥️
If you are new here, introduce YOURSELF👇🏽and if you’ve been here for a while 👊🏽 I appreciate you!

MY LAST, 1st POSTPARTUM YEAR 🥹
That first year is SO special and looking through these pictures, each one has come with its own collection of memories that I will NEVER forget. Knowing this was my last run through hit different and brought a different perspective to baby and myself in many ways.
“Year 1” postpartum is truly one of my favorite seasons as both you and baby are so vulnerable. I love the meticulous rebuilding process and love finding my way in a new world right alongside my baby. It’s so cliche to say, but the days, nights, and weeks of that first year are SO LONG yet the months and the year FLY by, almost unfairly.
After going through this phase of life THREE TIMES in the last 6 years 🤯, here is a quick summary from my experiences:
The first week is a huge strange blur. I remember the smallest details, but it also feels like an out of body experience, something that I watched over rather than did myself.
Months 0-3, similarly to that first week are all still so blissful yet you are running on low sleep, still aging your baby in weeks, and realizing daily how delicate you still are - mentally AND physically.
Months 3-6 are the hardest (in my opinion) of the postpartum year. Sleep is all over the place, hormones are running WILD, and you are in a weird place with recovery where you are strong enough to start doing more, but nowhere near strong enough to do what you remember you can do.
Months 6-9 is a really positive turning point. It finally feels like you kind of know what you are doing, baby is sleeping better, starting to eat solids, you are feeling much more strong, rebuilt, and capable than you have in the past year. This is when I feel like I can FINALLY see the light that we questioned if it would ever come back postpartum.
Months 9-12 is the time I finally feel like I fully get my groove back. I start saying “I feel like myself again!” More often, I am sleeping through nights, pushing workouts in the gym, and feeling like our “new normal” is now just “normal”. We made it. ♥️
This is a bittersweet goodbye, Year 1.
It has been an honor every, single, time 🫡
