Greetings from pixiv.
Starting August 27th, 2025, the Collection Feature (Beta) is available as a limited release on the mobile and desktop versions of pixiv.
This feature allows you to curate illustrations, manga, novels, and Ugoira posted on pixiv, links to other pixiv services (e.g., pixiv Encyclopedia, BOOTH, pixivFANBOX), external links, and text, and showcase them on a single page.
You can use collections to…
- Showcase your recommended works to a wider audience
- Create a portfolio of your own works
- Put together an event catalog including new and past releases
...and much more!
Behind the Collection Feature
Until now, fans could only express their appreciation for creators through bookmarks, comments, and tags.
Similarly, creators had limited ways of sharing their works, mainly by posting them on pixiv and relying on search results or follower feeds for visibility.
With this feature, fans can share the work of their favorite creators with others, and creators can showcase their own works to a wider audience, along with the reasons they love them or the ways they want others to enjoy them.
When a fan curates a collection inspired by a creator's work, others can discover it and become new fans. That enthusiasm then reaches the creator, fueling their next work.
Collections aim to create a world where a shared love for creative work spreads and connects people through art.
This feature is being offered as a Beta version and is currently in limited release.
We’ll be looking closely at how it’s used and will take your feedback and suggestions into account as we improve and develop it further.
We hope the Collection Feature (Beta) helps you share what you love and discover new themes and works.
Collections preview and where to find them
Collections you create will be visible to everyone on pixiv.
The official pixiv account has already published several collections. Make sure to check them out!
You can view collections created with this feature on the following pages.

Ensuring the safe use of the Collection Feature
The Collection Feature aims to create a world where a shared love for creative work spreads and connects people through art.
However, we understand that the way collections are used may cause some concern for creators.
The following are examples of content that must not be included in collections.
- Content that violates the purpose of the Feature (e.g., Content that does not aim to promote or elevate the value of the collected work)
- Defamation and criticism, highlighting flaws or judging comparative value, expressions of intolerance toward specific themes or expressions
- Spreading key story or plot elements without permission from the licensor (except when the spoiler mask feature is used appropriately)
- Content that undermines the value of the collected work (e.g., Using a collected work as a small part of a collage piece)
- Content that obstructs proper review by the licensor or the company
- Creating collections in clear violation of the intent of the licensor or copyright holder (including for works linked from external services such as social media)
The Beta release is provided under the following policies, as per our Terms of Use and Guidelines.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping to maintain a safe environment for all.
The ability to create collections will be rolled out gradually.
- At the time of the Beta release, only a limited number of accounts will be able to create collections.
- You can apply to join the Beta, but access will be granted gradually based on the number of applicants and each applicant’s activity history on pixiv.
Creators can choose whether their works can be included in collections.
The Terms of Use and Guidelines prohibit including works in a collection against the creator’s intentions. To avoid this, we have implemented the following features.
- Creators can set in advance whether their work can be included in collections.
- Creators can also check which collections their work appears in via notifications or their Dashboard, and remove their work at any time.
- Creators don’t need to communicate with the collection’s creator when removing one of their works. In fact, asking creators for the reason behind the removal is prohibited.
Published collections will be reviewed according to the Terms of Use and Guidelines.
- If we find any violations, we may make the collection private or suspend the account’s ability to create new collections.
- If you encounter any problematic behavior, please report it using the ”Report a problem” feature.
Read on to learn more about each topic.
Who can create collections?
At the time of the Beta release, the Collection Feature will only be available to around 0.01% of all accounts.
Depending on how the feature is used and the feedback we receive, we may gradually expand access to more accounts during the Beta period.
*Everyone will be able to view collections, regardless of whether they can create them.
If you wish to try out the Collection Feature…
If you’re unable to create collections at launch but would like to try out the new feature, you can apply by clicking “Try it now” on the page below.
Anyone with a pixiv account is eligible to apply.
Access is granted based on factors such as the number of applicants and your activity history on pixiv. Please note that it may take some time before the feature becomes available after applying.
You will receive a notification once the feature is available to you.
How to use the Collection Feature (Beta)
1. Create a collection
You can create collections by combining three different types of tiles.
- Works:All types of works posted on pixiv
- For illustrations and manga with multiple pages, you can select which page to display. Please note that you cannot edit or crop images.
- For novels, you can choose to display a highlight from the text.
- Links: URLs from other pixiv services such as BOOTH, pixivFANBOX, and pixiv Encyclopedia, or from external websites
- Text:Freeform text such as comments or impressions
We also provide some useful templates to help you get started.
You can save your progress at any time by clicking the “Save as draft” button and continue editing the collection later.
2. Publish the collection
Once your collection is complete, enter a title, tags, and caption, and publish it.
If your collection contains potential spoilers, you can enable the “Add spoiler blur” option to show a warning to viewers.
Please note that once a collection has been published, it cannot be edited except for tags and comment settings.
This is to make sure that creators can accurately verify how their works are being featured in a collection. Please make sure to double-check everything before publishing.
*You can unpublish your collection at any time after it has been posted.
*If the original creator changes the privacy of a work or removes it from pixiv, that work may no longer appear in your collection.
3. Creators of included works get notified
When a collection is published, all creators whose works are included will receive a notification.
*Creators may review the collection and choose to remove their work. If this happens, we ask that you respect their decision.
*Asking creators for the reason behind the removal is strictly prohibited.
(If you wish to stop receiving these notifications as a creator, you can disable them in your
4. Others can view and react to your collection
Others can view your published collections and leave bookmarks, comments, and other reactions.
Works featured in a collection will be displayed according to their individual privacy settings and viewing restrictions.
If a collection includes a work that someone can’t view due to those settings, a placeholder image will be shown for that tile.
If one of the works featured piques your interest, you can access the work page or the creator’s profile from the corresponding tile.
To learn more about the Collection Feature, see the Help section below.
For creators posting on pixiv
Just like you can manage comments on your work, you can also manage whether your work can be included in collections.
- You can set in advance whether your work can be included in collections.
- You can also check which collections your work appears in via notifications or their Dashboard, and remove your work at any time.
If you don’t want your work included in other people's collections...
- Apply the setting to each work individually
When posting or editing a work, you can choose whether or not to allow it to be included in other people's collections.
- Apply the setting to all your works
Regardless of these settings, accounts you have blocked will not be able to add your works to their collections.
*If you choose not to allow inclusion in your privacy settings, all of your works will automatically be excluded from collections, regardless of their individual settings.
How to check if your work has been added to a collection
When someone includes your work in their collection, you will receive a notification.
*Collections you’ve created yourself will not appear on this page. You can find them under the Collections tab on your profile page.
How to remove your work from a published collection
You can remove your work from a collection at any time.
- How to remove your work from individual collections
At the bottom of the collection's details page, you'll see a section labeled "Your works featured in this collection". From here, you can remove individual works or choose to remove all of them at once.
When a work is removed from a collection, a placeholder image will be shown in its place, and neither the original work nor the creator will be identifiable.
- How to remove your work from all collections at once
Using the Collection Feature in the pixiv app
Creating and viewing collections is not available on the pixiv app.
You can still prevent your works from being added to other people's collections in the pixiv app from My Page > Settings > Include works in collections.
To learn more, see the following Help section.
You can now choose whether to allow a work to be included in collections when posting from the app. This app update will be rolled out gradually, so it may take some time before it becomes available to everyone. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
To change this setting for a work you've already posted, please edit the post from a browser.
Collection Feature FAQ
Is there anything I should keep in mind when creating a collection?
When creating a collection, the guiding mindset should be to "share what you love". Please refrain from using the feature in ways that could be misinterpreted as criticism, harassment, or defamation.
When introducing another person's work, please respect the original creator’s intent to the fullest extent.
If your method of introduction differs significantly from the work's intended message and the original creator requests the work to be removed from your collection, do not recreate a similar collection.
Even if there is no intent to offend, repeated mismatches with the creator’s intent may result in the collection being made private or a suspension of your access to the Collection Feature, in accordance with the Terms of Use and Guidelines.
Will my work be publicly visible beyond its original settings if it's included in a collection?
No, works included in a collection will never be visible beyond their original privacy settings or viewing restrictions.
Only those who can already view the work on pixiv will be able to see it within a collection.
For example, if a work is set to Logged-in users only, it will not appear on social media even if the collection is shared on such platforms.
If a collection includes a work that someone can’t view due to its privacy settings, a placeholder image will be shown for that tile.
- When a collection URL is shared on social media, some of the featured works may appear in the preview image. However, works that cannot be viewed without logging in will not be displayed in the preview.
- Collections that include age-restricted works will not be visible to those under 18 or those who have disabled age-restricted content.
- Collections that include AI-generated works will not be visible to those who have chosen not to display AI-generated content.
My work was added to a collection in a way I didn’t intend.
You can remove your work from any collection at any time via the collection's details page or from Dashboard > Reactions > Collections.
Once removed, the work will immediately stop appearing in the collection.
This removal feature is designed to give creators control over how their works appear in collections.
You don’t need to communicate with the collection’s creator when removing one of your works, so please feel free to use this feature whenever you need.
*Asking creators for the reason behind the removal is prohibited under the Guidelines. If a collection’s creator contacts you this way, please report them from their profile page.
If you want to permanently prevent someone specific from including your works in their collections, please use the Block feature.
There are no limits on the number of accounts you can block.
Are there any works that cannot be added to collections?
Some works cannot be included in collections depending on the creator’s settings and the work’s privacy settings.
- You cannot include works if the creator has disabled collection inclusion via their settings or individual work settings.
- You cannot include works with their privacy set to My pixiv only, URL-restricted, or Private.
- You cannot include works from creators who have blocked you.
What should I do if I see a problematic collection?
If you find a collection that violates the Terms of Use or Guidelines, please report it from the "..." menu in the bottom right corner of the collection > Report a problem. We will review your report and take appropriate action on the collection or its creator.
Please refrain from submitting vague or false reports.
