Thank you for dealing with my selfishness, until now.—Reimu, Concealed the Conclusion
Reimu (CtC) is the main antagonist of the fangame "Concealed the Conclusion". She is Reimu from a canon were Gensokyo lies on its last breath, due to her slow and immanent death due to Gensokyo only being a manifestation of her dreams. It is only a matter of time for her and the world held inside her mind.
Biography[]
One day, during a feeble and uneventful spring, Reimu Hakurei goes missing.
Marisa after some time, catches wind of Reimu's disappearance and searches for her in different places depending on the chosen route (The SDM in Route A, Eientei in B, Muenzuka in C. Etc. Etc.). Regardless of route, Marisa learns Reimu has passed away, and with her, Gensokyo falls without her presence. She is given Reimu's location in The Netherworld, desperate to find her she rushes through only to be greeted by the Yakumos who understand what is happening and try to stop Marisa from reaching Reimu. They are unsuccessful, eventully meeting Youmu and Yuyuko who tell her the truth that Gensokyo only exists as a result of the real Reimu's mind, and everything around them is an illusion besides Marisa and her. Marisa denies the reality of the situation before soon growing to accept what is going to happen.
At sunrise, Reimu Hakurei will die.
Eventually, she finds Reimu, contemplating and waiting for what she believes is the only outcome left for her. Marisa tries to reason with Reimu and believes whatever is happening there has to be a way to make it stop, and asks if they can spend time together like they always have. Reimu agrees to Marisa idea of holding Gensokyo's last Danmaku duel, even if it means she will fade even before daybreak. After Marisa is victorious, Gensokyo collapses completely, returning them both to the real world.
Later, in her sleep Marisa is bewildered as she appears in Gensokyo once again. Eventually, she meets Suika, who explains that she was able to cling onto a fragment of the old Gensokyo, using her powers to create a new Gensokyo with what Reimu left behind, she emphasises though, that she cannot bring anyone from the past truly back. After a quick battle Marisa is victorious, Suika urging her to leave soon and return later as the land is still new and highly unstable.
After a while Marisa returns with someone else, who is at first left ambiguous. When meeting Suika again she asks for another fight, before Marisa responds with the idea of fighting her "Specialist" first. This person is then revealed to be the real Reimu Hakurei, who is surprised to see what is truly a real Gensokyo. She laments on actions before, and expresses her love for Gensokyo and her desire to stay and live there. After another friendly duel together at last, they decide to live together in Gensokyo to live out their lives the best they can together.
Appearance[]
Reimu is dressed in clothes that resemble her original outfit, but in a pure white color-pallete. This alongside the robe-like design of her clothes are commonly believed to be an allusion to traditional Japanese funeral attire.[1] Her hair is depicted as black, which is normal in some depictions of Reimu. But as seen in the Extra Stage her hair is canonically brown in this game.

- Despite how old her fangame is, it wasn't until July 7th, 2017, where the game would have its final update.
- Concealed the Conclusion is danmaq's second Touhou fan game, the first being "The Alternative Age".
- The theme used for Reimu's battle in The Netherworld is "G Free ~ Finale/Ultimate Dream" is an arrange of a song of the same title from Magical Astronomy, despite this, Concealed the Conclusion's version of the song is far more popular and strangely more commonly associated with CtC over the original CD it made it's debut, this trait is shared with her stage theme; "Sea of 53 Minutes".
