but what if i am perfecting my creation… :(

I am so afraid of failing it makes it difficult to pick up new mediums even though I really want to. Logically I can see this thoughtline not being productive, it would be like strapping one's feet to a snowboard for the first time and going "if I fall over in the snow a single time on this thing I'm gonna crash out" as though there is literally any harm to not immediately 'getting' things but that doesn't stop me from being taken aback when I don't magically start meeting my own tastes the moment I start... well... anything I don't already have experience in.
