the single question about regret is like this: it gives you a list of medical interventions and asks if you have undergone them. if you select that you underwent a certain intervention, it asks the date you underwent it, and asks how you feel about it now. the options being essentially "no regret, little regret, extreme regret" and if you select an option other than no regret it gives you a text box and asks you to explain. I put in the text box when it was asking about my mastectomy that it was the worst thing that was ever done to me, and that I consider it to be a more significant and severe trauma than the sexual abuse I experienced as a child. this prompted a cell phone call from the lead psychologist on the study (who was also the psychologist who assessed and approved me for testosterone as a middle schooler) where she told me she was concerned about the "mental health struggles" I expressed in my response and offered to connect me with a therapist. I told her that the last therapist she referred me to sent me to have my breasts cut off within a month and that she could kindly never call me again.
