Tear Ring Saga and Berwick Saga or whatever they would be as FE games wouldn't have been the wrong direction to take the series as far as I can tell.

From what I've heard, he just wanted to form his own company and do his own thing.

I wish he stayed myself, as well as Gunpei Yokoi not dying (God rest his soul.) There was definitely a different atmosphere in the Kaga games. Something was there that felt really special in those games' souls. You guys know what I mean?

I haven't played Saga though, I heard the first one's pretty much FE in all but name. But the second one apparently has hexagon shaped spaces and you can use maces and stuff. That one sounds like it would be an interesting take on the series.

IIRC, Kaga left due to IS not letting him make the games the way he wanted to. IS was picking on permadeath since FE4(among other things, like a traveleable world map, and so on).

From what i heard, Kaga wanted the game to be modelled after Gaiden

So.... yeah that kinda make sense

And remember that Thracia was a mess

it's just like Gaiden, SS, PoR, RD, and Awakening, just without "Fire Emblem" in the title

seriously, there's ****ing enemies with negative Attack Speed in the final chapter

Because the original Fire Emblem was oh so hard.
