When I first started our school, we had a staff member who almost made me give up on my journey.
I didn't have any experience then in Education, so I thought hiring people who had the experience was the best thing to do.
One of the teachers put me through hell with her attitude. She made it a point of duty to wear skimpy clothes to work.
On several occasions, I drew her attention to the fact that we were raising children and whatever we do in front of them, meant it was the right thing to do.
One day, I had to tell her to go home and change because I noticed while she was stretching her hand to clean the upper part of the board all her thighs were outside.
But she said to me if she goes home, she won't come back because she won't spend her transportation twice. I gave her transport and she left. She didn't return until almost close of school.
The next day she wore something worse. Sincerely I learnt patience dealing with her.
Until one day, after teaching the children, she walked up to my office and tendered her resignation.
What she said while doing that left me speechless.
She said to me "I'm sorry for everything I have put you through, the problem is not you but me. I just don't know how to submit to a fellow woman like me". Then she added I am leaving because you are a good person"
