No. Plainly no. HRT is a tool to make your body reflect the fact that you are trans.

But if you decide you don’t feel like the gender you were assigned at birth. Hazzah! 🎉🎊 You’re trans.

Trans-medicalist will say otherwise but that is a toxic segment of the community. And you may deal with a lot of scrutiny. Kind of like how bi people deal with biphobia when they’re in a heterosexual appearing relationship.

Those are things to be prepared for. But there is nothing that requires HRT to be trans. 💙
