Simply fantastic acting .... by the cat

Gemma's ginger cat was the best actor of the all. It was the only one who played a part convincingly well.

The acting wasn't great. Of all the human actors, you know it is bad, when the child is the better actor, of the humans.

The story isnt great. There is a nuclear blast and yet no windows break, nothing falls over, no shudders. Hell, they could have even did a 1950's camera work, where the camera shakes, to make us think there is a blast, but nope.

They all seem to be worried about which way the wind is blowing, yet no one covers up the spaces under or around the doors.

Ive seen 1970's hammy zombie films, with better acting and story lines.

Whoever worked on this, next time, go to the Winchester pub.

    The daze ahed

Don't think it illustrated the complete hopelessness of trying to exist post nuclear attack. And I doubt very much such clear skies would be in evidence immediately after and for quite a while afterwards - nuclear winter. There seemed a scarcity of population wandering the area considering there appeared to be no great damage to building structures in the vicinity. Sadly, I'd think that unless you were in a position to actively retaliate, I'd think the best place to be would be directly under the first missile.

    Great low budget film

Acting is pretty dodgy throughout, except for a few stand out parts. But overall this is a cool movie and is clearly stretching its budgets to the limit (in a good way). Would be great to see the filmmaker given a bigger budget and perhaps some more "Threads" vibes as it still felt a bit like more damage would have been done! Worth a watch.

    Relevant

I started this film, and within 5 minutes I wanted to stop it. But I didnt. Several reasons, low budget, poor acting at times, poor script, at times, definitely poor producing at times. Sorry to say that. But in the world we live in currently, I kept going. And I am glad I did. Because through all of the above, it gave me two things. Fear and hope. If a film provides any emotion, it should not score so low.

    I rather enjoyed it

Sure it's a low budget movie but that doesn't automatically mean it's bad.

The acting is spotty for sure but the cinematography impressed me and the short stories did make me think and reflect on what I would do in a situation like this.

    6/10.
