i can’t sleep and i found this old video of a song i wrote about my parents and our frequent conversations about iran. my parents were children living in tehran during the revolution and they’ve watched their home rapidly morph into something unrecognizable throughout their lives. most of my extended family still lives in iran. honestly, i wish i had some profound geopolitical insight to cut through all the current headline madness right now but i don’t, so i thought i’d just share this
