Because i worked in metalworking factory, people are there 8 - 14 hours a day every day and let me tell you there is so much noise constantly, dropping stuff, banging, large machines.
You cant wear headphones too because of safety or some shit i never listened to them.

I also went to several gyms here in Europe "old heads" you could categorise them like in Pumping Iron with Arnie and gang.
These kinds of gyms never had politic against loudness or dropping weights as i know.
I get the reason for this practice, if you focus on lifting heavy you preserve energy, minimalize injury risk by dropping the weight its not much to it (in most cases). Of course there are douches that will do it solely because they saw it in movie or some.

Most people don't drop heavy weights to be snarky cunts from my experience.
There are gym that forbids groaning, screaming, hyping each other up nor bumping weights on ground when doing dead lifts..that s just beyond me. I would however respect the gym's policy or find another one.
Working out is mostly grueling business making noises and slamming weights is huge part of it not some ill mannered thing practiced only by divas and assholes.

Filming or streaming in gym is whole different genre from dropping weights. Filming should be banned in gym or most areas of the gym.
And i don't drop weights on daily nor film in gym just so you where i come from. i have understanding for it and tolerance for the noise personally.
