Yuri Ishitoya
First-year master's student at Ochanomizu University specializing in natural language processing and AI fairness. Gained international research experience at Rice University and DFKI (Germany). Founded Dots to Code, one of Japan’s largest hackathons for women and non-binary people. Her app “Anshin Yomichi,” addressing gender gaps in nighttime safety, was selected for a national IT development program. Actively works to bridge gender and technology through research and social initiatives.
