Problems around Borova Recently, Russia's Ministry of Defense announced the complete liberation of Borova, and footage appeared showing advances into the village. However, the reality turned out to be far less positive. In late April, Russian forces conducted successful attacks and gained a foothold in the built-up area. By early May the situation was relatively favorable, but the enemy then disrupted Russian logistics and restored control over the village. After the attacks, footage was published that allegedly confirmed the capture of Borova. In reality, most of the video was filmed 25 kilometers away in Kolomyichikha, which has long been under stable Russian control. This is not the first such case. Previously, footage from Novaya Tavolzhanka was used to claim control over Kupiansk. While the Guards "West" units have real successes around Kupiansk and are strengthening the pincers around Lyman, such misleading information only harms the overall picture.
