punching stone walls so hard you bloody your knuckles and presumably fracture something as the sfx here imply IS self harm but the show doesnt treat it as such. when caitlyn notices no comment is made and we just move on. why is her pain not taken as seriously?

Im 99% sure they wrote Vi showing signs of suicide ideation and self arm by accident. They just wanted to make her look "sad" but in a "hot" way and didnt fully realize the implications there, just like with the lack of exploration of her prision trauma: its all just "aesthetics"

that the only two butch women in the main cast, vi and sevika, also each take the most damage across both seasons (which makes sense they are the only brawlers) and spend practically the whole series being walking punching bags

Finally finished Arcane gosh the tears in my eyes. The plot, the themes, the characters, the dynamics, the drama, the lore, the emotional moments…everything was garbage from beginning to end. On my way to the hospital, definitely the worst animated series I’ve seen

is it not a mark of shoddy writing to you that the main characters various traumas are never a topic of discussion though. especially when maybe the worst she ever experiences is the opener of the entire show
yeah it just so happens that the one character framed as unambiguously and at times almost cartoonishly evil is also the only character with a pronounced jagged hooked nose. No reason in particular for that design choice
