As soon as i saw him peek out from behind carmine i loved him, its easy to see why, given my (previous) favorite character was allister

Carmine is.

Drayton is slightly excusable because Kieran was a bit rude to him as champion, but the whole"Ex-Champion" bit was uncalled for.

True. I saw these few messages between Kiki and Drayton and Drayton kept calling him ex-champ and Kiki was tired of it so he just yelled at him. The little babyyy!

About carmine and Drayton, I never felt any anger towards carmine. She was a bitch, yeah, but as a younger sibling, it didn't seem like she did much but trash talk (although her keeping ogerpon a secret from Kieran did kinda piss me off). I love Drayton because he is just a troll. His attitude towards Kieran, after he loses seems more like catharsis. Kieran, in the elite four's own words, brought the joy and fun of Pokemon battling down, and Drayton was probably spiteful about that, since he is the one who would want it to be fun the most.

As an older sibling, Carmine's "trash talk" was a lot more harsh and personal than it needed to be. She mocked him and was mean in an aggressive way.

Even when I playfully "bully" my siblings the furthest I'll go is saying they smell, or being cheeky.

Then again, I might hate Carmine less if she wasn't so worshipped by others lol.

Yeah I agree. Even being a younger sibling (and I get the whole, 'you don't really hate your elder sibling' stuff but we still view the world very differently and we dislike each other slightly), I still agree that carmine was way harsher than older siblings would normally be. She is an actual bully, and my problem isn't that she is, but it's that they act like it's just a quirky characteristic and gloss over genuine pain she may have (and eventually did) cause to the best boi.

Its not just you! The moment I saw him hiding behind Carmine, I knew he was gonna be the most precious thing ever.

Drayton is more of that friend that likes to play mean jokes but has your back when you need them most- but Carmine is, at first, just down right inexcusable. She gets better, but I still think she has a bad habit of being self-absorbed.
