Kanagawa University has imposed a disciplinary measure of "suspension (4 months)" on a Kanagawa University faculty member on April 23, 2026, under Article 45, Item 4 of the Kanagawa University Employment Regulations, for conduct that falls under "when harassment is committed" as defined in Article 44, Item 7 of the same regulations. We deeply apologize to all parties involved and to society for this incident occurring in a higher education setting such as a university, and we take the facts very seriously and will strive to prevent recurrence as a whole organization.
