Rockwood Strategic (RKW:282p), the top-performing small companies investment trust over three and five years, according to AIC data, has delivered another impressive set of annual results.

In the 12 months to 31 March 2025, the closed-end fund generated a net asset value (NAV) total return (TR) of 21 per cent, materially outperforming both the FTSE SmallCap ex Investment Trusts index (3.4 per cent TR) and the FTSE Aim All-Share index (loss of 8.2 per cent). Since the period end, the fund’s NAV per share has risen a further 10 per cent to 273.6p.
