A week without a Seaport restaurant opening is a week that never was: Now, there’s a New York-style pizzeria opening on Northern Avenue — an area not known for pizza offerings (RIP, Pastoral). It’s also beer garden season, and Mighty Squirrel continues its expansion with a splashy summertime spot in a bucolic venue. Expect beer, wings, and even saag paneer. And, if you’ve been meaning to visit the skytop Foxglove Terrace at the new Atlas Hotel, read on to learn more about their one-night-only, multicourse feast featuring some of Boston’s best chefs.

Openings: Night Shift Brewing’s trio of dog-friendly beer gardens are open for the season in Allston, Dewey Square, and at the Esplanade, complete with food trucks from Si Cara pizza and The Hummus Shop at the Allston and Esplanade locations. Visit Tuesdays through Sundays; hours vary by location.
