it gave me nightmares as a kid on youtube in the early 2010s😅
Hello guys, I've been trying to archive a very information rich and valuable website that I fear might be at risk of being lost in the next few years, but it has saved a snapshot with no images and half the outlinks not working. Is there anyone that can help me with this?
It is a Flight Crew Training Manual (FCTM) for Boeing 757/767 aircraft and it is available here:
I would be very happy if someone more tech-skilled helped me with this, thank you.
I am very impatient trying to search through every single archived page on websites, so I am asking if anyone made a search engine program that go through a website's archived pages and looks for your search term. I am thinking of making my own if there isn't any, but I am also wondering what would be an appropriate downtime for each load?
Ok look, idk you guys get that happened like me or what, I was just use Internet Archives to save some GachaTubers on YouTube everything is normal but I really don't know what happened to internet archives, I found out they don't save memory for some reason idk what happened but I know only it happened after October this year but I have no idea why, they don't save. I need to save two time to make sure I get save it, Idk what happened to internet archives but I think something is not right, and I need you guys help to know it.
i wanted to try and find an old tumblr account i had from years ago that got deleted. ive tried googling, and only 5 results show up if i have it search for the exact username, most of them being xyzblog liked a post on some random account. ive looked on the waybackmachine, but nothing pops up. is it gone forever? everyone always says whatever you post on the internet is there forever, is there no way to find it?
someone i know just got the link to something that will help with their archival, but wants to save it in the best quality possible. no screen recording basically
i was looking for a deleted soundcloud account that was active in maybe 2022-2023 (?) and i just wanted to know if it would be possible to find the music on it through the wayback machine.
Can someone please explain how I can download this type of youtube videos?
I've tried using yt-dlp and this option none of them seem to work. The oldest archive says we need Adobe Flash to watch it although using a browser that already has Adobe Flash doesn't seem to help either. In short I feel stuck, really close to the goal but I can't quite reach it and I don't know why nothing works.
Hello all,
I am currently trying to search for an early 2010s song that I listened to on YouTube a lot as a child. The song is titled "Makes me shit my pants" or "Things that make me shit my pants". It may also be referred to as "Licorice, kiwi fruit" since these are the opening words to the song. The song is basically just a guy singing about a list of things that make him shit his pants. It starts off with basic food items, but then gets more absurd.
I first watched the video on YouTube, where it included an animation alongside it, showing each item after it was mentioned. I have no idea if this was the original source or not. It seems to have been deleted completely from YouTube.
I have been searching for this song for about a week, and only been able to recover the first 20 seconds. Any help towards finding the full thing, or even any information at all about the song would be very helpful. For context, here is the first 20 second snippet from Sound Cloud ( )
I have tried searching WaybackMachine as well as the general internet archive for a while for this song, but have not been successful. I do not know whether this is because the song has not been achieved, or not.
I do not know the original creator of the song, the original URL, or the video ID. Any ideas how I could find this information, or how I may be able to find an achieve of the song without this information?
Does anyone have any idea how I could look for this song. If anyone recognizes the song at all that would also be very helpful to know.
no matter which url extension i try it says "Cannot resolve host" on links starting with archive.is, archive.ph, etc. and when i look at the history of archives, i notice they all stop a couple months ago. Is something fishy going on?
I am pretty much trying to find out the following:
Say, we have account X. Say X account is private. At some point it becomes public, for whatever reason it gets logged into wayback machine to archive it. Let's say the account became public from private on September 15, how long back will it be archived?
I am trying to find out when an account switched from private to public to private again. Cause obviously it wouldn't be logged in the wayback machine if it had remained private during the whole time.
Save page link:
I'm having trouble finding & downloading this video, I have the link (down below) and according to the wayback machine it was saved twice yet it doesn't allow me to download or watch it, could someone help me? i'm new to this
I was spelunking through loads of 20+ year old websites and noticed a lot like to redirect you immediately, and I mean before you can actually see anything on the page. I really don't like that, is it safe to just dive into whatever archaic page on that machine?
Hi. I really enjoy archiving and browse the Internet Archive site every day until I reach my usage limit. (Yes, there is such a limit.) Now I want to upload my own archives to the Internet Archive, but I haven't been able to figure out how to download the website. For this, I used Cyotek WebCopy (1.9.1.872) (latest version) (released on 08/18/2023) and WinHTTrack Website Copier (3.49-2) (latest version), and each time I encountered the issues listed below.
-
While scanning the site, it also scans other sites, so the scanning never ends. (Example: I want to download `www.asite.com`, but because of a link on the site, it scans and downloads other sites as well.) (For example, the site's Facebook page.)
-
When I change the settings to only scan `www.asite.com`, media files from other sites linked on the page are not downloaded. (Example: Some photos on `www.asite.com/any/sub/link`are pulled from `www.image.com`, and when I change the settings to only scan `www.asite.com`, the photos pulled from `www.image.com` are not downloaded.)
-
How can I prevent the user from clicking the Logout button? (While crawling the site, if the user clicks the Logout button, they log out of the site, and as a result, part of the site isn't downloaded.)
-
I want to log in using cookies, but when I try this in WinHTTrack Website Copier, I get a “cookies too long” error (even though I removed the unnecessary parts of these cookies using artificial intelligence). When I try this in Cyotek WebCopy, it opens the site through Internet Explorer, so the login buttons on the site often don't work, or none of the page content is displayed at all.
-
How do I set the speed and number of connections to avoid API restrictions when downloading the site? (I think I've solved this problem). (But please explain how to do it anyway).
In summary, I need to set it up so that I can download everything from `www.asite.com`, but not other sites, and also download media (photos, videos, GIFs, etc.) pulled from other sites.
I subscribed to both Gemini and ChatGPT for all these settings and provided the link to the program's user manual site as the primary source for their most advanced models. But despite that, they always gave inconsistent results.
Thank you in advance for your help.
I added a real link, and I went to the real website, but when I try to use it, it just says something about how I should use the wayback machine
for example, the site i'm looking at stores its profile pictures/avatars as urls that end in something like image.php?u=31112
however, sometimes the url has something else after that number, which is the case here. I'm trying to find all archived pages that start with , but that exact URL (with nothing after it) was only archived in 2024. There are some pages archived from 2010 that have broken images with more specific urls like
This one isn't archived, but i want to search * to see if ANY of them are, however you seemingly can't use the asterisk search if a question mark comes before it. it always just goes "wayback machine hasn't archived that page" as if i was plugging in one specific url and not just a prefix to search under.
I'm just trying to how many of my old pfps from this site got archived in any form, since most archives just use a much later archive of the one i used from 2013 all the way until the site shut down in 2025. I did find a few others, but i know for a fact that the earliest one i have found is not the first pfp i used there.
Um i think the server is not available to open it, i cant use it!
It seems that Ruffle is a default flash loader Wayback uses as I've never installed it, and it seems to pop up regardless of the browser I use and refuses to load the page on older browsers. Is there any way to use my own flash player instead of Ruffle? It seems to be unable to load older flash games from the early 2000s, I have a virtual machine with IE6 and Macromedia Shockwave that I wanted to use instead to see if it would run better that way.
hi, i found this panoramic view: of the t80 via the way back machine however, when i click the panoramic view it gives me the following error:
is there any way to view it? i really need this
the only point where you can directly select a date, that i can see, is once you're looking at a single url. the list of urls for a prefix only lets you sort by "when its earliest and latest archive were."
I just need a list of every page on that site that has an archive within a certain month. Filtering out any that don't. That can potentially include many pages which were FIRST archived way before that, and LAST archived way after that, impossible to single out using the methods i know of.
Save page link: yt-dlp added muted video?
It is I again, back with more Tvtropes archives.
So,my first and SMALLER problem,is that occasionally I'll get a pop-up that says I cannot archive a page more than 3 times. This is despite there only being 1 archive.Wtf.
My second and BIGGER problem is that some archives just DISAPPEAR.I have been using a laptop to archive the 100 pages of Tvtropes videos for a LONG time (seriously, look at the archives from july. All me).
Since November 20th~ish,some have just been deleted, even when they were up the day before.Like on Page 35,I had 2 archives on Dec2nd,& 3 on Dec3rd.Those are no longer there,I still had the laptop open on P35,& could not see those archives after refreshing the page.
Why is this happening? Are archives of other websites disappearing too?
I'm doing some research for an article and want to get at this interview:
But it's down and waybackmachine and other web crawlers don't seem to have it archived anywhere.
Well, I’d like y o u to take a look at this website and just dig around a bit for the images and GIFs that are missing, or maybe anything else… ^^
I’m not very good at doing these things, so I only stayed on the surface here.
Here is the link:
Here is the "mainpage":
Pages I save on the wayback machine don't get archived anymore, it saves then sticks around for 5 hours and then dissappears like it was never archived, I save them in my Web archive and receive an email for it and when I pressed it later on its gone? How can I stop this because I lost about 15 web pages I made for my YouTube channel and it just keeps deleting itself especially in October I noticed this, is anyone else getting this issue?
I'm done. I spent the previous 5 days trying to recover this YouTube video, I just can't. It says it's unavailable, and that's it. Please, somebody just tell me if there exists a way to archive this. Thank you from now.
Original URL:
Shortened URL:
Wayback Machine URL: (the oldest archive)
Is there any way to circumvent this problem, or do I have to admit these videos were gone forever from Wayback Machine captures
im not sure how to recover link this song i listened to i have the link saved and i dont really know how to recover it i would love if someone helpt out

Hello! I'm writing about the 1999 Geocities boycott for a university assignment and I was wondering if anybody knew of any archives of 'haunted' pages partaking in the boycott (greyed out with screenshots of the t&cs, skull/ghost imagery, etc.). I've been able to find screenshots from other essays, but I would like to get a photo of my own, if possible.
Is it possible to retrieve files I posted on the Internet Archive that got taken down via a DMCA removal by asking the people behind the Internet Archive for the files without the files being brought back on the Internet Archive?
A friend of mine needs an older version of this plugin in order to be able to use it.
The download link for it fails to load.
Version 1.0.10 (version needed)
Is there any way to get this version of this file somehow?
Does anyone know of a way to look back before AI was popular like 2019 and see the top post on a specific sub reddit?
On 17th of November, some glitch happened & Wayback Machine went down. Now that it's back,I cannot archive any page from Tvtropes,& ONLY THAT website.Archiving Wikipedia pages still works. Why?
Hi All, me and my friends would love to download this video. Every time we try it fails, we can't find another 4k version anywhere, this was originally on YouTube but has been taken down and the owners site is down too.
I am trying to save my bookmarks on my Archive of our Own profile. I successfully saved both the bookmark page links and the view_adult=true links on November 13, but I noticed they were gone on November 17. Now, I am positive I saved these links so I was baffled.
As a test. I tried saving them all over again on the 17th. I checked them today. Presently, some of them are working, but half of them are gone from the Archive when I am absolutely positive I saved them (I know because I saved the links on the word document to be sure.)
What is happening? Is the Archive scraping saves right now? Is it just not particularly kind to AO3 bookmark links?
I'm sorry if this has been asked before but it's seriously bothering me and I don't know how the Archive works well enough to figure this out myself.
I'm trying to access an old MySpace blog from 2009, and the blog itself is archived , but there are several links on the page that, when clicked lead to the "The Wayback Machine has not archived that URL" page. I'm heartbroken by this because I've been trying to find photos and videos of this band which seem to be scarce, and it seems that the only real collection of media is in that can no longer be accessed!
All this to say, is there anything I can do?! Is there any way to access these non-archived sites? :(

i checked multiple accounts and realized that links aren't archived after a certain date. is it just broke for the accounts that i checked or this is an update problem? lemme know please
Can i use this web or another similar one to try to recover old google keep notes that I deleted almost a yer ago? Thanks in advance :D

If you know a dev who can pick it up, would be dope. I bet this is not the only case.
I contact the wayback machine about something and they emailed back saying "You've been included on this ticket _____" What does it mean I've been included on a ticket?
When I was younger I had a really cringe YouTube channel, I was one of those animation meme kids. when all of that got too cringe I just completely deleted all of my videos and I have no way to view them anymore! I've been trying to find some form of archive site that would be able to let me view them. The videos were from around 2018/2020 ish on a channel called XXRarraXX or something along those lines. any form of help with finding a way to view these deleted videos would be great! I've accepted that this is probably a dead end though
When I was a kid my siblings and I found this website, which I believe was, called “my strange world” (it had strange world in the title). It could’ve been “our strange world” or “this strange world “.
The website was basically an archive of all these paranormal stories that had happened from around the world.
One story was about this lady in America who found a book on her doorstep, brought it inside, put it on her couch and accidentally sat on it. And demons went into her through the book. The story goes that she then became possessed and was sent to hospital and then escaped. And she was apparently calling herself Moses or mamma Moses.
We read this story around 2006/7. And I’ve tried looking the website up a few years ago but it looks like it no longer exists. I’ve even tried the way back machine and, I think I’ve might’ve found something but, it looks more like an old blog and not what I’m after.
Myself and my siblings have tried to find this website and the story of mamma Moses for so long. But to no avail. Does this website sound similar to anyone? Or the story?
I’ve even tried asking ChatGPT but nothing much comes up. I’ve even tried searching for the story of the lady but nothing comes up. I can’t remember any other story from that website.
Edit: there’s also a good chance I’m misremembering the name of the lady. But that story is definitely one I remember reading.
The website also had a plain white background
Hey everybody!
I just finished building Arkibber, a free app that lets you leverage an LLM-powered middle layer to transform your query into a carefully crafted set of parameters to assist in tuning the output produced by your search.
So, I like to look for royalty-free outlets for viable assets to supplement my creative projects. However, when trying to leverage free content on websites like , I can sometimes fail to find interesting content. This wasn’t due to it not being present; mainly just a UX that seems heavily oriented towards very rigid-feeling static content retrieval, making it very frustrating for me to explore multi-media content. With hundreds of collections, subjects, and various publication years to sift through, finding a good search felt like striking gold. The issue then was that a few more filter tweaks left me lost in the straw heap.
For me, the best thing about Arkibber is iteration speed - I’m able to cycle through a wide set of natural language searches quickly, and test out my ideas. Some things aren’t available, but I’m still able to find that out way faster. Would really appreciate if some of y'all played around with it for a bit!
I have the handle of an account and want to automatically archive all the tweets of that account, in case of retweets and replies ideally with also the context.
Is there an existing solution/script for that?
Hiya, i've been really struggling to use the wayback machine on my phone? Vould someone help me find multiple chapters of this fanfic, rather than just the first? Help would be very appreciated appreciated link:

I accessed the wayback machine and selected a website, then went back 10 years to watch a video (this video has now been deleted), here is the video link at the wayback machine: . But when I clicked to watch the video, I saw nothing. At first, the image appeared, then it spun around. I waited for 5 to 10 minutes but still saw nothing. That was the first one, the next video had another error, I continued to click on another video, the link was like this: . But instead of nothing, this time it showed: an error occurred, ruffle error... I don't remember anymore. So how can I watch it, I really want to watch it and I have been trying for over a year now. Thanks

Reliance JIO network telecom company in India is using CGNAT for network address translation proving multiple users with same IP address which is leading to 429 error while going to - , not sure how to fix this but thats a big problem I am facing currently. Any resolution will be highly appreciated. Thank you!
if you look at the calendar, the archive is highlighted in blue which normally means it was able to be archived. But going to it leads to a "sorry this page has not been archived" message. It can't be archived now because that twitter account has been suspended since last year.
(I genuinely don't know what the post is, i was just going down the list of my archived statuses in early 2020, and this is the first one that did this)
When I click on a pdf link it loads a blank page with the error message: “view replay.pdf is undefined” What’s happening, is this a site-wide issue?
Hi, i have been using wayback machine successfully for different twitter accounts i was interested in. Even if the account has been suspended or if the owner deleted his/her posts i found something on wayback machine. The problem is that everything is ok when it comes to images and to the original message text. But when it comes to videos it is impossible to see them. Posts are not so old, they are from 2024 I can look into the json and find a lot of links but still can’t find the videos. Maybe there is a way to search them into wayback machine..if images are still there…the same should be for some videos…. Thanks for your help
ive tried using the wayback machine but i got an error that said "we have not been able to archive the video associated with this youtube page".
im not really sure how to carry on searching for the video now, the creator privated it about 1 year+ ago and it was a very nostalgic video to me
any tips on what to do next?
The page got deleted and I can't find it anywhere, if you can help, i would be so happy, please and thank you

Getting this error even on different VPNs but WBM works on Tor Browser. I cannot use Tor browser because I want to run python script. Any solutions?
Such as other websites that automatically crawl the internet and for example archive reddit posts?
Every time i try archiving it it either says it’s not accessible from there or the page breaks
I have a api question for how to search specific keywords for wayback machine on every 1 trillion pages to find specific information?
A video of Bathypterois grallator aka tripod fish was archived in 2010 and and an additional 14 captures were made. I don't seem to be able to view the video. Was the video never captured or am I doing something wrong?
This URL is live and loads the image just fine. But the WM archive is a broken image, when that is inspected it somehow is using a Photobucket link that's formatted like a Wayback Machine link, which would obviously not work. No idea why that would happen.
I was hotlinking this image in an old post and it now has a watermark in that context so I wanted to archive the non-watermarked version so i can update the hotlink to that without losing the original URL. Did Photobucket somehow figure out how to prevent that despite the image being 100% viewable watermark free when directly accessed?
I used to have a blog on there in the late 2000s and out of curiosity I wanted to see if I could find it on the Wayback Machine but can’t for the life of me remember what my username/url was. They say that once something’s on the internet it’s there forever lol so I wondered if anyone knows if somewhere there should be an archive/spreadsheet with all the usernames and urls?
I’d just love to see what I was blogging about at 8/9 yrs old haha
If there’s somewhere else this question would be better posted pls let me know and thanks for any advice anyone can offer! :)
It was archived before the post was deleted, it’s just a big empty box where the image should be. Is there any way I can get access to the image?
Hello, I'm trying to find videos of Hamlinz's playthrough of The Beast Inside but only part 1 and 2 is available with the rest being deleted. Unfortunately I don't have the links to any of the other parts.
Here's part 1:
I tried searching his name on WaybackMachine but only a couple of videos show up and none of them being the other parts of the series. Can someone help me out or are they truly gone?
aqui vai o que aparece para todos dominios. mesmo erro em todos
I know recently reddit has implemented ways to block the wayback machine but even pages from 5 years ago barely load.
Comments are missing, a lot of images too, is it normal or there’s an issue on my end?
On youtube pages too the videos and comments dont work, is it useless to try storing these sites?
Ao abrir este link, aparece esse erro, nao é o erro da pagina que o WBM salvou, mas sim, erro no WBM. Acontece apenas com esse link, o que é bem estranho. Alguem poderia verificar se tambem esta assim?
is it possible to load up youtube comments and replies under certain comments using wayback machine on a video made in 2024? Or does Wayback machine not save youtube comments, ik it used to in the past.
Ola, estou tendo esse bug na foto de perfil onde ela fica assim:

Hi
I posted this also on internet archive forum but the forum seems bugged too
I am facing some 503 errors when trying to download some abandonware audio programs
Its weird that all errors are with .exe files, since zip, PDFs and other extensions are working
Some examples
does not download
(Found a zipped version in other site (some free VST site, non Archived) and it downloaded
But thats a Mac version does and so does other files from the same kind of content that are not windows executable files.
And Bankstep PDF manual download fine
Any issues with security and EXE files or its just a temp problem ?
Tks !
sorry for the stupid question I don’t know how to use wayback machine properl, basically what happened was that I archived a certain playlist on the site and the original videos where taken down of YouTube. Sadly i didn’t archived the videos apparently but I still can access the playlist with them on it with wayback machine. Is there any way to recover these videos or they are lost “forever”?
Years ago...like before 2012 I remember using this amazing onine seal generator website. You could shapes, fonts, colors, a few clipart designs. It was awesome and free.
Sometime after 2012 I tried to use it again and saw it was basically broken. And then I think I read something about the creator passing away.
Does anybody happen to recall what site it was? If I could find it I'd head over to the internet wayback machine and try to verify what it did and make a (perhaps lame) attempt to reconstitute the site for the masses.
So what say you Internet hive mind?
Wayback Machine does have them saved but the video files cannot be played. How else can I retrieve these videos?
