TIMBO'S WAY-TOO-LONG VOTING GUIDE TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE ELECTION OF MAY 2026

Unread post by Randy from Boise » Fri May 08, 2026 9:34 pm

Quick link to the WP candidates pages: link

2nd version is in a post below.
This is just a first version, more meat to the bones in a day or two, hopefully.

Yes!

Asukite (T-C-L) is a self-described "male human," a 36-year old American who went to school at Wayne State and Eastern Michigan. He has racked up about 46K edits becoming active at WP in 2020 and thinks that beer is delicious. His account was registered in 2011 but up until 2020 there was only one year, 2013, with a significant level of editing.

His first handle was apparently Envelopesalad, which is either indicates an absurdist sense of humor or a desire not to settle for the name Steve43875 or whatever he was down to as an alternative. Ya gotta think with all the account names burned over the years all the one-word names and most of the two-word names have already been used.

He describes his work as anti-CopyVio, anti-POV editing, and anti-censorship, with work doing recent changes patrolling. He was rocking a "This User Bites Vandals Hard" infobox for a while and has long been a self-described "recent changes patroller."

The block log is clean, the pie chart shows just under half of edits to mainspace, which is good for a janitorial-type editor. There is very little in the way of content creation, with 30 edits to the video game article Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass (T-H-L) his most actively contributed article. That's fine, we're looking for mop handlers here, not people to write about the history of the mop.

Zero concerns.

==========

Bonadea (T-C-L) is a Swedish PhD who works in information science at Uppsala University. Native Swedish speaker, level 5 English. Likes Macs and cats and books and music.

What a nice first user page statement...
My name isn't Bonadea, but all my usual nicks were already taken so I went with the name of my cat. I'm Swedish, a linguist (pursuing my PhD in English linguistics) and librarian. I don't envision becoming one of the Wikipedia giants, but being a cog ain't all that bad. Please pardon any newbie mistakes I make; they are not malicious.
I will try and put aside my deep-seated prejudice against librarians.

166K edits since 2006, about half to mainspace. Took a year off in 2023-24. Clean block log.

We're already done here, aren't we?

==========

Johnny Au (T-C-L) has been around, a Canadian who we've bumped into periodically over the years at Everyone's Favorite Wikipedia-related Messageboard. (Don't worry, lurking haters, he's Safe and Sane.™)

75K edits since 2006 with one (bad) block by Harry Mitchell on the books. Johnny has the longest consecutive daily edits streak in Wikipedia history, having made at least one edit every day for over 20 years, including the day of Mitchell's overturned bad block. This makes Mr. Au a real source of Orioles' pride as the veritable Cal Ripken Jr. of Wikipedia editing...

I thought he was already an administrator and this is the definition of a No Big Deal candidate, to my way of thinking.

==========

Reconrabbit (T-C-L), known as Myles in real life, has a whole bunch of sciencey science articles notched into his gunbelt, according to his user page. While he says he likes rabbits a lot, he asserts his main area of expertise is chemistry. He has a declared COI for City College of New York.

A total of about 18K edits since arrival at WP at the end of November 2023, about half to mainspace. Clean block log.

Clearly active in the GA/FA clique, 9 of his top 10 mainspace contributions are to GAs or FAs, six of which relate to rabbits. The lowly B article on the list entails 80 edits to Furry fandom (T-H-L)—which could also theoretically relate to rabbits, I suppose. (I should know better than to try to tell jokes in these guides...)

Active in the Teahouse, Help Desk, and AFC.

I've got no concerns.

==========

Sammi Brie (T-C-L) started at WP in December 2005 as TrackerTV, alt account Melted Brie. Self-IDs as transexual, West coast American by time zone, top level Spanish language skills, and an enormous 243 good articles on the spindle, mostly relating to television stations.

175.4K edits (77.8% to mainspace) — one of the best content people in the current crop of candidates. Clean block log. Became active at WP in 2015 and super active in 2019.

I have no concerns.

==========

Vestrian24Bio (T-C-L), has previously run the gauntlet in July 2025. I had him in the Not Yet camp back then...

My Way-Too-Long rundown of this and that about them then is here:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=14244&p=392386&hili ... io#p392386

30.6K edits, 39% to mainspace since his actual start at WP in 2023. Two dings on the block log though, most recent foul a 3RR violation in March 2025. Editing work skews sports related (cricket).

I see that V. Nimrou Niroshan (male) has changed his name to Nimrou N. DeLaurentis, which is actually a hell of a good name, stage or otherwise. On the negative side of the equation, you'd always be 1 of 1 on the internet, for better or worse.

A Tamil by nationality, living in Sri Lanka. Heterosexual and eschews The Dark Side of the Force.

Way too much information on that user page, ha ha, but if you need a quick pint of AB+ blood, maybe Nimrou's your guy.

We've went another year without an editing transgression, I'll be voting Yes this time.

==========
==========

Mebbe...

Bobby Cohn (T-C-L) is a Canadian with a BA in Biochemistry and an MS in Environmental microbiology. He's logged 51K edits since an actual start with WP in September 2023. The block log is clean. Only one-third of edits to mainspace.

But what of that editing? His top editing is to the "Good Article" Manhood: The Masculine Virtues America Needs (T-H-L), a book by the arch-Trumper Christian nationalist sleazebag US Senator Josh Hawley (T-H-L). Yikes. Cohn was actually the editor making the start on this article. Yikes. His last stable version when he finished working on that piece Aug. 29, 2024 is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?ti ... 1242992600

Note that in an earlier iteration he characterized this book under the genre "Christian literature." Yikes.

His second most contributed article is Parental rights movement (T-H-L). Yikes. Also his start. In case you are unfamiliar, the PRM is also known as the "Y'all Ain't a Gunna Turn My Kids Trans!" movement...

His last stable version when he stopped working on that piece of Sept. 13, 2023 is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?ti ... 1175260965

Let's just say my backhair is up by this point. Fortunately, I don't see any indication of problematic talk page polemics, the reddest of red flags, which is a good thing.

While much of his mainspace content is unproblematic, he did also help shepherd the highly dubious article Donroe Doctrine (T-H-L) through AFC and contributed 49 edits to that.

I've got $20 on Alberta. Filing under "Maybe" for now, definitely needs a further look. I'm leery.

==========

Ca (T-C-L) , formerly Carpimaps, is a clean start account launched in 2022.

22.7K edits since 2022, just one-third to mainspace. Clean block log.

Four of the five top contributed articles are GAs, with 416 edits to American pipe-organ builder Charles Brenton Fisk (T-H-L), which was Ca's start.

Speaks Korean.

Nothing out of the ordinary at a glance, should be a very easy pass, but filing under "Maybe" until there's more clarity on the clean start matter.

==========

Drm310 (T-C-L) is the handle of Saskatchewanian Daryl Mitchell, a gay, atheist, social democrat flying the Grandmaster Editor First-Class badge. My tribe! (Well, maybe not the gay part...)

Declared COI as an employee of the city of Saskatoon, where he works in information technology.

126K edits since September 2006, clean block log, and again, we are about done here, it would seem...

Hmmmmm, spoke too soon?!?! Less than 10% of edits to mainspace! Less than 10K edits to mainspace, 62K to user talk??? How is that possible??? And even that mainspace work was skewed to 2017 and earlier.

And to the "Maybe" section we go, pending additional information.

==========

Taking Out The Trash (T-C-L) - Another clean-start account, having gone inactive in 2017 and subsequently vanished. An American man, originally from Indianapolis but now living in New Hampshire.

18K edits since August 2021, 34% to mainspace. Clean block log.

Big gaps in the activity log: Zero edits from June 2024 through July 2025; zero edits from January 2022 through August 2022. Somebody needs to ask a question to gain clarity on that.

But, most importantly: Ai-yi-yi.... Do we really want to have somebody getting a message saying "You have been blocked by Taking Out The Trash"??? I don't think so. I'd like to see a promise of a name change if given the tool box.

I'm not wrong here. This is the declaration from the first user page in 2021...
"The purpose of this account is to take out the trash from Wikipedia. Alternatively, the purpose of this account is to remove anything and everything undesirable from Wikipedia."
Filing this in Maybe, need more info.

==========
==========

Nope.

G-13114 (T-C-L) was G-Man (T-C-L) from 2003 to 2009 before clean-starting. A UK train guy.

Coming up on 30K edits, 88.6% to mainspace. One 3RR block in 2007, which approaches zero in effect.

Top article is 614 edits to Rugby, Warwickshire (T-H-L)

Over 60 talk page edits to Antisemitism in the British Labour Party (T-H-L), which was set to autoarchive every 20 days — a real indicator of a problematic topic.
Active in both the Israel and Judaism work groups and the Organized Labour and Socialism work groups. I hate archived threads. I'll dig.

Consistent supporter of tendentious Icewhiz proposals to that bloated Sack O'Sheiss article.

Nope, sorry, not going there. That should not be the part of any administrator's editing pedigree.

==========

NYC Guru (T-C-L), has 1,875 career edits since July 2020, which isn't gonna be sufficient by a factor of 10. Nor would it have even been sufficient in 2005, probably.

I'm not gonna invest a bunch of time here, this is going to be a candidacy shorter than the "You Must Be This Tall To Take This Ride" bar for most Wikipedians, I think.

No hard feelings, keep working.

Ya gotta think with all the account names burned over the years all the one-word names and most of the two-word names have already been used.
That got me thinking...

I asked an AI to make me 20 combinations of two English words. It gave me adjective/noun combinations, even though I hadn't specified that - and not one of them has been used as a Wikipedia name.

A different AI estimated there are 500,000 entries in the Oxford English Dictionary, with 250 billion two-word combinations.

That means with around 50 million registered users at the English Wikipedia, everyone could have 5,000 two-word accounts without any overlap.

It looks like the surface has barely been scratched.

This Q-and-A is a kill-shot for me:
Q. Currently, your userpage states that you may be effected by, "altered perception when making editorial judgements, determining consensus, or reading Wikipedia discussions addressed to him". As adminship often requires personal judgement and dispute resolution, do you believe it is currently a good time for you to seek adminship and be entrusted with these expectations? —GGOTCC (T-C-L)

A: It's difficult to answer this without getting into personal details, which I'm not going to do, but I commit to always step away and not take administrative action during times in which I believe my judgement could be impaired. —Taking Out The Trash (T-C-L)
"I promise to use good judgment and step aside at times when I don't believe I have good judgment."

A pretty bad answer to one of my questions as well.

AGF requires us to assume that at least half the (active) admin corps' judgement is permanently impaired. So what's one more whose judgement is occasionally impaired?

Yes!

Asukite (T-C-L) is a self-described "male human," a 36-year old American who went to school at Wayne State and Eastern Michigan. His account was registered in 2011 but up until 2020 there was only one year, 2013, with a significant level of editing.

AfD record: 87.3% match rate, n = 152..........8 keep votes to 115 delete votes.
Q. How and when did you first become involved at Wikipedia?

A: My first edit to Wikipedia (in my memory) was back in high school, where I anonymously removed a spoiler for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from an unrelated article (you can probably guess what it was). I later did some minor vandalism as an IP – I think I changed a few numbers in infoboxes by a small amount. I was so impressed by the speed with which I was reverted and templated that I got into reverting vandalism instead, which is mostly what I started with, having then discovered that Wikipedia has a community of its own.

Q. Have you ever edited at Wikipedia under any other account names, and if so, what is the backstory of the multiple accounts, change of name, or clean-start?

A: I registered Asukite in 2011 but did not use it for much at the time. I later registered Envelopesalad and used that for recent changes patrol and eventually new pages patrol. After having a little time on the project under that username, I remembered my now-current username and submitted a request to usurp it in 2013. Other than User:Envelopesalad (now defunct – I neglected to include this above as I did not think of it as a separate account as the rename process carried over my entire edit history), User:Asubot (deactivated, as noted above), and my current username, I have never used any other username, nor have I used the clean start process. I have done minor typo corrections and copyedits anonymously over the years, typically when using a shared computer, but only rarely.
Q. Why are you interested in becoming an administrator?

A: I have always been passionate about helping to maintain Wikipedia, starting out in the anti-vandal space and moving into new page review, and eventually handling RM/TR requests and closing move discussions. I try to find new ways to contribute on a regular basis as I enjoy working on a variety of tasks and learning new processes. As an admin, I could continue to grow along these lines and further help support the project's continuity and quality. I can see myself getting more involved (with some care) in closing discussions as I have enjoyed the work of interpreting discussions and weighing arguments. Being able to overwrite redirects with no significant edit history produces cleaner logs than a round-robin, and being able to move pages with sysop move protection would be helpful. I would also continue helping out with anti-vandalism and the associated noticeboards. Helping with backlogs is an essential admin task and is structured work I enjoy doing.....
His first handle was apparently Envelopesalad, which is either indicates an absurdist sense of humor or a desire not to settle for the name Steve43875 or whatever he was down to as an alternative. AfD record: 91.2% match rate, n = 1189 .......... 36 keep votes to 393 delete votes in the latest 500 results.
Q. How and when did you first become involved at Wikipedia?

A: For several years, I was very actively involved in the Open Directory Project (DMOZ). In 2006 there was a long stretch of time when dmoz.org was down, and after a few weeks I created a Wikipedia account so I could contribute to a similar project.

Q. Have you ever edited at Wikipedia under any other account names, and if so, what is the backstory of the multiple accounts, change of name, or clean-start?

A: When I got my first smartphone I thought I might need an account to use on that, so I created User:Bonadeaphone but very soon realised that I didn't actually need it. The account is linked from my user page, but has been dormant for a long time. I haven't used any other accounts.
Q. Why are you interested in becoming an administrator?

A: I have been around Wikipedia for a fair few years by now and have come to feel that I should pick up some more of the responsibility for keeping the place running smoothly. I think my having the mop, spanner, and other tools would help decreasing some of the admin backlogs, and I think I would do a good job as an admin. Areas I have some experience of already are AfD – not in the sense of having closed many discussions, but I have participated in a lot of them and usually in line with the closing decision; AIV, where I have a strong record of reporting vandal/spam accounts; SPI – I have a pretty good nose for sockpuppets; and to some extent LLM investigations – that’s something I am sadly forced to deal with in my day job as well, and I am good at spotting stylistic quirks (useful for sockpuppet identification) and LLM signs....
What a nice first user page statement...
My name isn't Bonadea, but all my usual nicks were already taken so I went with the name of my cat. I'm Swedish, a linguist (pursuing my PhD in English linguistics) and librarian. Ca (T-C-L) , formerly Carpimaps, is a clean start account launched in 2022.

AfD record: 74.5% match rate, n = 139 .......... 16 keep votes to 34 delete votes, and 82 pages with no discernible vote.
Q. How and when did you first become involved at Wikipedia?

A: I started editing around 2021 when I clicked the blue link in a Citation needed tag, discovered the button reading "I can help! Give me a random citation to find!", and followed suit. My first few edits were made anonymously, adding references, before I created an account.

Q. Have you ever edited at Wikipedia under any other account names, and if so, what is the backstory of the multiple accounts, change of name, or clean-start?

A: I shared too much about myself on my first account than I was comfortable with. My old account was never blocked, nor was it under a cloud, as my nominators have attested to. The name change to Ca was simply for vanity. I saw that the two-letter name was usurpable, and took the opportunity.
Q. Why are you interested in becoming an administrator?

A: I am an active contributor to WikiProject Articles for Creation, in which I have reviewed around 2,000 drafts. I wish to help with AfC-related matters which need admin tools, such as CSD (specifically G11, G13, and G15) and page moving. Having view-delete would also be handy for catching sockfarms and WP:G4-able drafts. I am also interested in helping out with antivandalism and NPP as an admin. As I am less experienced on these areas, I will exercise extra caution in working with such backlogs.
22.7K edits since 2022, just one-third to mainspace. Clean block log.

Four of the five top contributed articles are GAs, with 416 edits to American pipe-organ builder Charles Brenton Fisk (T-H-L), which was Ca's start.

Johnny Au (T-C-L) has been around, a Canadian who we've bumped into periodically over the years at Everyone's Favorite Wikipedia-related Messageboard. (Don't worry, lurking haters, he's Safe and Sane.™)

AfD record: 61.7% match rate, n = 54 .......... 5 keep votes and 33 delete votes.
Q. How and when did you first become involved at Wikipedia?

A: I first became involved with Wikipedia in 2006, when I began casually editing Toronto-related articles. My early editing was mostly connected to topics I was already interested in, such as Toronto itself, local places within Toronto, Toronto sports, Toronto transit, and related subjects. Over time, I became more involved in routine maintenance, anti-vandalism work, and improving articles within those topic areas. What began as casual editing gradually became a long-term volunteer commitment to helping keep Wikipedia accurate, useful, and well maintained.

Q. Have you ever edited at Wikipedia under any other account names, and if so, what is the backstory of the multiple accounts, change of name, or clean-start?

A: No. I have only edited Wikipedia under this one account. Johnny Au is my sole Wikipedia account.
Q. Why are you interested in becoming an administrator?

A: I am interested in becoming an admin primarily to help with anti-vandalism and maintenance backlogs in areas where I already have substantial experience as a non-admin editor. Over the years, I have frequently worked with WP:AIV, WP:RPP, and WP:UAA by reporting vandalism, requesting page protection, and identifying problematic usernames. I would like to be able to handle some of those issues directly when policy clearly supports it, rather than always relying on other admins to act. My initial focus would likely remain on straightforward administrative work such as obvious vandalism, page protection requests, and related maintenance tasks. I would approach the tools cautiously, avoid acting in areas where I am involved, and gradually expand only after gaining more experience and observing how experienced admins handle more complex situations.

Reconrabbit (T-C-L), known as Myles in real life, has a whole bunch of sciencey science articles notched into his gunbelt, according to his user page. While he says he likes rabbits a lot, he asserts his main area of expertise is chemistry. He has a declared COI for City College of New York.

AfD record: 84.8% match rate, n = 199 .......... 21 keep votes, 95 delete votes, and 53 pages with no discernible vote.
Q. How and when did you first become involved at Wikipedia?

A: I started editing because I noticed in my studies and work that quite a few of the chemical substances in our labs did not have Wikipedia articles, and after a couple years of being annoyed about that because it made it take a couple more steps to find relevant information through PubChem rather than just searching for it on Wikipedia, I started taking the task upon myself. Of course after a little while I realized there were too many chemicals to do this all on my own and moved on to other editing pastures.

Q. Have you ever edited at Wikipedia under any other account names, and if so, what is the backstory of the multiple accounts, change of name, or clean-start?

A: I have not edited under any other account names.
Q. Why are you interested in becoming an administrator?
A: I intend to work mostly in Articles for Creation and New Page Patrol areas, as I have noticed through my work in AfC review and NPP that view-delete is invaluable in identifying particular issues. Being able to process my own G5, G6 and G10 cases would save time for other admins. I tend to work towards the back end of the new pages feed, where issues can go unaddressed for longer and page movement is often relevant. I know some wikitext and CSS markup and can assist in template fixes and changes...

Sammi Brie (T-C-L) started at WP in December 2005 as TrackerTV, alt account Melted Brie. Self-IDs as transexual, West coast American by time zone, top level Spanish language skills, and an enormous 243 good articles on the spindle, mostly relating to television stations.

AfD record: 89.1% match rate, n =1439 .......... 73 keep votes, 242 delete votes, and 96 indiscernible votes in the last 500.
Q. How and when did you first become involved at Wikipedia?

A: I don't remember much other than it was the summer of 2005. I was 10 at the time and I mostly edited pages related to broadcasting (a topic I loved even then) and Pokémon. I was an IP editor until November 2005, when I joined and created some really short articles and redirects (the oldest of which survives is KNAZ-TV, which I've since gone back and rewritten). I suspect my activity increased here after young me got into a dispute on another forum where I had been very active, the Nintendo NSider Forums, and took a long break there as a result.

Q. Have you ever edited at Wikipedia under any other account names, and if so, what is the backstory of the multiple accounts, change of name, or clean-start?

A: Yes, I've had two changes of username. One was in 2010 because, well, when you're 10 you tend not to create good online usernames, and I hated the one I had. And one was in 2020 when I came out on the English Wikipedia. The only other accounts I have are Melted Brie for ASU (as noted above) and BrieBot, which was used earlier this year to add thousands of country parameters to uses of {{Infobox radio station}}.
Q. Why are you interested in becoming an administrator?

A: I’m a page mover with nearly 3,000 moves, including in my own topic area, which has a high share of complex moves and swaps that sometimes end up at RM/TR for want of someone who understands the subject. I have experience with AIV and SPI, particularly with topics like children's and Filipino TV that attract their share of vandals. And I have a lengthy background at AfD and other deletion processes, with 150 AfD nominations and nearly 200 proposed deletions in the last five years and participation in CfD, MfD, and TfD. These are all areas I can further support with the tools.
175.4K edits (77.8% to mainspace) — one of the best content people in the current crop of candidates. Clean block log. Became active at WP in 2015 and super active in 2019.

I have no concerns.

Vestrian24Bio (T-C-L), has previously run the gauntlet in July 2025. I had him in the Not Yet camp back then...

My Way-Too-Long rundown of this and that about them then is here:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=14244&p=392386&hili ... io#p392386

AfD record: 71.0% match rate, n = 303 .......... 4 keep votes, 227 delete votes, and 12 indiscernible votes.

(no answer to my introductory questions within 10 hours, but he's on the other side of the world...)
Q. Why are you interested in becoming an administrator?

A: As I've been repeating, I want to make at least a minor change in the lack of active admins on this side of the earth. Especially for important pages such as RPPI or ANI; I could at least do my part in making sure that there are admins to step-in when they are needed the most, with hope for more editors to come forward from this hemisphere. I could also help out with backlogged pages, especially XfD related ones.

Tamil by nationality, living in Sri Lanka. Heterosexual and eschews The Dark Side of the Force.

Way too much information on that user page, ha ha, but if you need a quick pint of AB+ blood, maybe Nimrou's your guy.

We've went another year without an editing transgression, I'll be voting Yes this time.

Mebbe...

Bobby Cohn (T-C-L) is a Canadian with a BA in Biochemistry and an MS in Environmental microbiology. He's logged 51K edits since an actual start with WP in September 2023. The block log is clean. Only one-third of edits to mainspace.

AfD record: 77.1% match rate, n =407 comments .......... 8 keep votes to 167 delete votes and 210 indiscernible votes.

(no answer to my introductory questions within 10 hours)
Q. Why are you interested in becoming an administrator?

A: My interest in becoming an administrator is in a desire to continue to help out the project by reducing the load of other editors in areas where I am already active. Sometimes I find myself adding to the backlog rather than resolving them, most notably at UAA but in other areas of the project including AfC and NPP where advance permissions are sometimes required for cleanup. I would use additional tools to aid in my work that I come across in NPP, and viewing deleted content to assist in anti-vandal or general newcomer guidance work. Additionally, because I have experience in participating in AfDs and reading and summarising clear consensus statements for closes (like at RMs), I could also see myself doing closing work at AfD. I would also benefit from having access to more information in deleted content when filing SPI reports. More broadly, I have tried to reduce the workload in other areas where I currently hold advanced permissions, and I would extend that same philosophy with a larger toolset.

I'm leery.

Drm310 (T-C-L) is the handle of Saskatchewanian Daryl Mitchell, a gay, atheist, social democrat flying the Grandmaster Editor First-Class badge. My tribe! (Well, maybe not the gay part...)

AfD record: 90.8% match rate, n = 371 .......... 8 keep !votes and 243 delete votes.

(no answer to my introductory questions within 10 hours)
Q. Why are you interested in becoming an administrator?

A: As past candidates have commented, there has been a steady decrease in the number of administrators since 2010. At the same time, there is chronic backlog of admin work (WP:AIV, WP:UAA, WP:REVDEL, WP:RFPP, etc). As an admin, I hope to be able to share the load and whittle down those backlogs.

I am also concerned of what’s happened with the advent of LLM/AI tools, and the proliferation of poorly written, human-unreviewed LLM-authored content. Content like this threatens to undermine our foundational principles of reliable sourcing and verifiability. Admins play a key role at stopping this content from diminishing the importance of a human-written and human-curated encyclopedia.

Nope.

G-13114 (T-C-L) was G-Man (T-C-L) from 2003 to 2009 before clean-starting. A UK train guy.

AfD record: 45.8% match rate, n = 29 .......... 22 keep votes and 2 delete votes.

(no answer to my introductory questions within 10 hours)
Q. Why are you interested in becoming an administrator?

A: Because I feel I would be able to assist the project more than I do at present if I were able to do housekeeping tasks such as moving pages, blocking vandals etc.

==========

NYC Guru (T-C-L), has 1,875 career edits since July 2020, which isn't gonna be sufficient by a factor of 10. Nor would it have even been sufficient in 2005, probably.

AfD record: 74.7% match rate, n = 103 .......... 38 keep votes, 32 delete votes, and 27 pages with indiscernible votes.

(did not answer my introductory questions within 10 hours)
Q. Why are you interested in becoming an administrator?

A: I would deal with new editors in a more friendly way and educate them on how to properly edit where many new editors get blocked without warning. I could help with the AIV and protection backlog which I check from time to time.
I'm not gonna invest a bunch of time here, this is going to be a candidacy shorter than the "You Must Be This Tall To Take This Ride" bar for most Wikipedians, I think.

No hard feelings, keep working.

Taking Out The Trash (T-C-L) - Another clean-start account, having gone inactive in 2017 and subsequently vanished. An American man, originally from Indianapolis but now living in New Hampshire.

AfD record: 48.5% match rate, n = 75 .......... 2 keep votes, 30 delete votes, and 40 indiscernible votes.

This is a DQ for me owing to a "retirement" of 8 months in 2022 followed by an inadequately explained medical absence for 13 months with zero edits from June 2024 through July 2025.

Acknowledgement of some sort of mental health issue that might periodically come into play affecting judgment.

18K edits since August 2021, 34% to mainspace. Clean block log.

I asked about this and wasn't really thrilled by the unthoughtful response. It strikes me as a pretty serious matter, not "meh."

Yeah, I've had my quibbles with previous guides but this one is top notch, Tim.

Although, personally, there's just no way Bobby Cohn is gonna be a good appointment of the mop. Having to say "Donroe" already makes me retch. A firm, heavily biased no from me.

Re Drm310's extremely lopsided user talk edit count: it appears to be because he spends much of his editing time on new page patrolling, particularly of user pages. And he seems to come back to user talk pages sometimes; see his top edits report for the user talk namespace, which shows that he's edited 39,857 unique user talk pages and the thousandth-most-edited page in this namespace still has four edits. Also, User:Drm310/CSD log (T-H-L) has 14,161 edits, which is very high, but not unprecedented; the highest listed at Wikipedia:Database reports/Pages with the most revisions (T-H-L) (when sorted by namespace) is User:Liz/CSD log (T-H-L), with a whopping 63,793 edits.
