Mario Kart 64 is a 1996 racing game for the Nintendo 64. Taking the Super Mario Kart's chaotic gameplay into the realm of 3D, Mario Kart 64 features larger tracks with more varied terrain, more items to help terrorize your friends, and new mechanics (such as the mini-turbo boost gained from drifting) to spice up the experience. In other words, Mario Kart 64 is simply a bigger and better game than its predecessor, and it is widely considered to be a gaming classic.
