The high court has ordered the sale of Mentmore Towers in Buckinghamshire, the site of property tycoon Simon Halabi’s proposed luxury hotel development.

A Jersey-based vehicle run by the Syrian investor has been told to sell the former home of the Rothschild family to ensure payment of more than £190,000 in disputed fees, interest and legal costs to engineering consultant Packman Lucas.
