【Heartless Japan
】
Kurdish siblings raised in Japan, a high school boy and his junior high school sister.
The kids are allowed to stay.
The parents? They’re being deported.
The older brother goes to one of the top high schools in the prefecture.
He’s a senior, grinding for university entrance exams, trying to get into med school.
And then the judge tells the mother:
“IF YOU LEAVE VOLUNTARILY BEFORE BEING FORCIBLY DEPORTED, YOU COULD APPLY FOR A SPECIFIED SKILLED WORKER VISA AND COME BACK.”
Seriously?
The mother of a kid in the middle of exam season just breaks down in tears.
JAPAN SUCKS.
