Texas courts created such an unprecedented situation in an emergency filing last night, no one knows who is in charge of InfoWars, and therefore no one can pay rent.
Since no one controls these assets right now, it does appear InfoWars will shut down tonight at midnight.

The Sandy Hook families are seeking emergency relief, asking for resolution in several courts, because this obviously harms their ability to collect the $1.4 billion they're owed from Jones and InfoWars.
We're hopeful they will resolve this immediately so we can take over and pay these families.
Endless money to pay lawyers to file frivolous motions but nothing for the families.
Lawyers get rich.
Victims are left traumatized.

His actual goal was to get a shell company to buy InfoWars assets for pennies on the dollar, and then keep him employed. The Onion has prevented that from happening, so blowing it all up is his next best option, I guess.
He's basically already done that with Bigly and "The Alex Jones Network" which he allegedly isn't in control of.
I personally think this is a mix of oppositional defiance and Alex being so attached to the Infowars brand he can't let it go.

Nonsense. The Court could very easily order rents to be paid into a "trust account" and held UNTIL a final determination is made as to who owns the account. At that point, all monies accumulated in the trust account are turned over to the rightful owner.
