But this synthesizer's signature was its stereo chorus, a built‑in effect that expanded its single‑oscillator architecture into a lush, immersive soundstage. The sounds are high-quality stereo samples, specifically processed for the ultra-portable OP-1 field. Since the original OP-1 is monaural, stereo channels may be downmixed to mono.
