Pachinkoite monkeys
Pachinkoite monkeys are a vulnerable species on the planet. Fifty years ago, they were critically endangered, but it's slowly getting better around the time that Chiro ends up finding the team.
There's various breeds of Pachinkoite monkeys, though there's three main breeds on the planet. They're similar to humans in terms of how they have hair rather than simply fur on their heads.
- Sunbeam monkeys (Yellow) are best suited for the summer. They're long haired and they're more comfortable for warmer temperatures. In return, they're unable to handle lower temperatures well and they require areas to remain warm during winter. They'll typically be warmer colored. The main way of knowing they're a sunbeam monkey is the way their fur becomes lighter or darker, e.g. a yellow sunbeam monkey becomes a darker, orange color when they're pissed off or a brighter shade of yellow when they're happy.
- Snow monkeys (Blue) are best suited for the winter. They vary upon fur length, but they're still the same in the way of being able to handle colder temperatures. In return, they tend to suffer in the summer and anywhere with high temperatures more than other breeds. As a result, they need to be cooler during summer or they'll pass out from the heat.They'll typically be cooler colored. The main way of knowing they're a snow monkey is the fact that the second half of their tails are a lighter color similar to their lower legs, torso, and muzzle.
- Common monkeys (Black, Green, Red) aren't suited for a specific season. They can be any color and have any length of fur. Depending on how long their fur is, there'll be areas with a darker shade of fur (i.e. the monkey's lower legs before the lighter fur color of their feet).
- There's other monkey breeds on the planet, such as calico and tortoiseshell monkeys, but sunbeam, snow, and common breeds are the most notable ones.
