The grey area is the container for the Light and Shadow Realms. It is grey, due to the fact that it must have two ends of a spectrum. It is however not gray on the traditional logic, as it is both boundlessly bright and dark on a conceptual level despite not containing any light or darkness. It represents what neither of the opposite ends produce yet also what they do. No other colors can exist here, and no light can enter or be produced within the Grey area.
Limbo[]
It acts as the absolute form of limbo or out of bounds state for any object within it. Time does not exist here - you can move around, but you wont ever starve. Time experienced in The Grey Area is illusory and fake, yet most time-bound entities will mistake it for reality. The same goes for the space you will tread on. Most people who have gone here return mentally broken, because they have spent, in their perspective, several billion millennias, while in reality they have spent a "time" so stretched out it could not even be defined with "Eternity".
