For decades, Clover Connell and his Green Kern Gang have run the streets of Boston, both feared and beloved by the Irish of the city. When the bloodshed spills into the ghettos of Belfast, the boys become embroiled in the Troubles of Northern Ireland, finding themselves targets of the IRA.

The Savios dives into the dark underworld of the Irish mob and the hostile conflict that erupted in Northern Ireland in the late 1960s. It is a story of vengeance, loyalty, family, and the battle that rages for the souls of violent men and the boys they raise.
