One cannot help but note the absence of diversity. This is a very largely white, middle-class, university-educated group of people, isn't it? I suppose that's inevitable, but it's a little bit conservative, isn't it?

Gosh. What a motely crue of mostly out of touch with reality "influencers" living in a bubble of self congratulation and dwindling audiences and participants. Make the arts great again. Ahem.

There seems to be nobody from the 'art world' in this list - no wonder that 103 Trongate has been gasping for breath - and no wonder that the Royal Glasgow Institute has been struggling to re-establish itself.

Ian, it's vacuous, pretentious cac and her claim that the Citizens has a history as a working class cultural landmark really made me laugh. Apart from a few rare exceptions it never was any such thing and it certainly isn't now.

tis not even as good as that

This explains the failure of Scottish arts and the lack of a thriving popular culture.

well, it's popular with their pals in the sub-culture, darling.

And let's hope that they stick to the arts and leave politics, where we already have enough actors and comedians, alone.
