All of the overlaid examples don't match. Has there been new developments other than fans overlaying drawings? (Regardless of evidence, I think it would be best to not feed into the internet's tendency to "cancel" internet famous figures.)

To clarify my statement, I meant the 3D art style used in this game is generic. Not that all 3D art styles aren't charming.

I immediately lost interest after seeing the production quality of the game. The 3D is some of the worst I've seen in recent times; you can render better quality 3D on toasters these days.

No, I don't want all women to be "Captain Marvel" and yes women can be in touch with their emotions. I think it's a bit disingenuous to say that Princess Peach was presented as "being in touch with her emotions" in the game. If they honestly were aiming for that, I would be all for it.

For example, in her crying animation, she is shown to be crying uncontrollably; I don't exactly get the sense that she is in control of her emotions from that animation. But to your point, the player is in control of her emotions. So there is something to be said there.

Super Princess Peach isn't exactly a shining example of female protagonists in video games. Peach's powers are literally the stereotype of women being overly emotional. She could have had any power in the whole wide world, but they decided on using her emotions as her power.

I've always wondered who the target demographic for these games are.

Their ethnicity/nationality has nothing to do with the fact that this game took inspiration from another. If you look back through history, you’ll realize that most works of media are derivative from one another.

The 3D environments are what makes this game feel empty and soulless. Some of the open terrains are all brown and overly textured.

I was just responding to the other poster’s response that she has many *recent* games.

Blasphemy! Her art is so anatomically correct and her poses aren't very stiff. The way she renders cloth is detailed and realistic! Her male and female designs are both very cute and tasteful! But also, she's not that prolific. Other than this mobile game, she's only made 7'scarlet recently.

Ah! That’s Chinatsu Kurahana‘a art. I hope the microtransactions aren’t excessive in this game because the premise sounds appealing otherwise.

7'scarlet's opening song is called "World End Syndrome". These two games also have similar premises. I believe the same scenario writer worked on both games; I wonder how they've come to be related.

I read this VN on Steam. My problem with it was that the female character was a cross between uselessly naive and manic pixie dream girl. To add insult to injury, she then dies for the character growth of the male MC. This VN screams that it's written by a male writer. I'm looking forward to VNs that are authored by people with more diverse ideas.

Is Nate the only protagonist? From the Wiki, that seems to be the case. I'm surprised by their choice of cutting out the female protag. She was my favorite of the two~

The teaser doesn’t catch my eye. High school settings are hard to get right; they usually end up being full of tropes and overused characters. In addition, a girl knocked out/killed/victimized isn’t a very interesting premise since it is so overdone.

This will sound mean, but the character designs all seem very uninspired and tropey. Also why does such a small dev team need an assistant, planner and director? Seems like a strange allocation of human resources. On an indie team, most people are acting in multiple roles, but shrug, i doubt realism was the intent of this game.
