President's Message
Hello, everyone. My name is Junichi Matsuda. I would like to extend my greetings on my appointment as the President of the Japan Federation of Bar Associations, effective as of April 1, 2026.
I was born and raised in Shinjo City in Yamagata Prefecture. From my experience of growing up in a suburb of a small city in an agricultural area, I became strongly aware of the significance of providing an environment where judicial services are equally accessible to people everywhere, as an indispensable part of social infrastructure.
